Hope you enjoyed the celebratory glass of wine:D
Hi Solvent,
I suppose in some kind of misguided way the teachers thought they were doing the right thing, but I never did see what all the fuss was about if someone used their left hand or right hand. Thankfully though, common sense has prevailed and they don't do that anymore. I had an extra 3 or 4 glasses to celebrate the day. Any excuse will do for me......:DIf you've nothing decent to say, perhaps you shouldn't say anything.

Hi everyone,
Now I did not know that it was left handedness day yesterday - my little girl is left handed and I've had to relearn letter formation in order to help her with her hand writing. She is happy enough to use the computer mouse with her right hand and to use right handed scissors etc.
I missed out on a NSD as put some liquid gold into the car (not sure where else I was planning to put it...) but did have a picnic lunch all packed including drinks so did very well otherwise.
I'm holding out hope for today though!CC1 £5999 Total Debt March 2021 £5999

solventsoon wrote: »Lily_The_Legend - well you just have to buy cakes for your birthday, no avoiding that, so you’re excused the spendy day. You did well with your present from work, that’s brilliant. Oooh, I’d love a doughnut, thanks:D
I have birthday cake now too!solventsoon wrote: »Happy Birthday, Lily, hope you have a lovely day tomorrow
Thanks Spoon, and thanks for everyone's birthday wishes!
Had another spend day yesterday  but hoping for a NSD today!
Planned to have a day out yesterday buy I woke up with a headache so me and DH popped to town and I bought some clothes then we had a pub lunch. Then as I wasn't feeling too well I said DH should go to watch footie and I went to my mum's. She'd made me a choccie cake by the time I got there! :j We had dinner round there too when my DH and stepdad got back from footie, so that was nice.
Popped out this morning and this afternoon we're off to see the in-laws to share the cake around - DH had bought a birthday cake too.
Then tonight my dad is taking us for a meal at the pub and we'll do the quiz :j and I'll probably pack up some cake to give to him too!
Hope everyone's having a good day, the sun's shining here now!0 -
Yesterday was an unitentional NSD, because I got up late afternoon after working all night, then as I was about to go shopping, my daughter decided she needed the car for a night out. So NSD#7.
Today has been a big spend day as the cupboard was bare.
I will attempt 3 in a row this coming week.

If you want further confusion, the timestamp against your message shows as 4:34am on my screen..... so it shows my local time to me, as 4:34 + 1hr = 5:34, which looks around the time you probably posted it
Have you checked your 'Date & Time Options' under 'Edit Options'? I'm set to GMT, and also set to 'Automatically detest DST settings'.
Thanks,I'll have a look at that.:o0 -
lost track but I think thats NSD 6 for me0

NSD 11 - Easy today as the "cheaper" shops open too late for me. I'm generally up whilst "most of the world" is in bed so shopping fits in with that plus I prefer that routine.0

Today would be NSD 4 for me, 3 in a row
Although mine doesn't include bills or anything, my NSD's are days where i don't buy anything, whether it be for myself or the house or groceries etc. I have to say this is a lot easier now I don't smoke haha, before that everyday was a SD lolSept GC - £13.19/£150
