    Good morning all!

Well it's a very rainy Edinburgh this morning!

    Jintyb,

You may disagree as you live there all the time, but I love Edinburgh and don't mind if it rains when I'm there! It is the nicest city I've ever been to and if I could afford to move/work there I would. It'll hopefully brighten up soon though. Enjoy the rest of the weekend.

    Red

Absolutely not,Red. I love Edinburgh too - I've travelled a bit during my life and I know I'm very lucky to live here! I'm Edinburgh born and raised!
It's lovely of you to say so though - I'm sure we could squeeze you in!:)

    You-whoo :hello::hello:

I'm back from nearly three weeks in Sunny Scotland...it was mostly too...well, dry at least! :D Then I got back to England yesterday to rain, rain and more rain, having left the north of Scotland in the morning bathed in glorious sunshine!!! :o

Very heavy showers today, in-between bouts of spitting and drizzle...so have given up taking the washing in and out again...the spinner and tumble drier are being kept busy, hey-ho!
    :(

I too love Edinburgh...born there myself, but only lived there for two summers when a student, loved it immensely!

So a week into August and we are already on page 18, not sure if I will manage to catch up with everything...so much else to do.

Thanks spoon for continuing the thread, you are indeed a star!

Can you put me down for 18 NSDs for August, so far I have nabbed 4, so pretty pleased. I'd also like to aim for 4-in-a-row
    ..we'll see how I do.

Have a good Sunday...see you next week.

  • I've got no plans to go out for the rest of the day and I haven't spent so today is NSD 4.

Saw my sister and nephew this morning and then visited my mum and dad this afternoon (dad is going to fix my hoover ;)). I'm off to put dinner on and tidy up, maybe do a bit of ironing. I've also promised my DD that we can make a cake for after dinner and I need to make some blackberry crumble as DS1 and DS2 and DD picked loads today at the park

I'll be back later for the round up :)

NSD 6/7 so far this month (recorded it wrong yesterday).

rising from the ashes - thanks for your reply. I did not mention that I find the 59p soya is okay in recipes but now will only use the dearer Alpro for hot beverages. Frustrating that it is so costly.
