Morning all!
Having gone much more into my overdraft (which I'm trying to pay off!) Than I wanted due to the cat and this weeks holiday from work, I'm hoping I'll only have 1 more spend day between now and Friday when I get paid.
Having my hair cut tomorrow so will buy the essential bits like bread tomorrow too. Have a good Sunday everyone, hope you've got the sun like I've got here0 -

Jinty it's the same here - tipping down.
I've already had to brush water off the patio 3 times (seems to dip in the middle - probably as it's where people walk - and floods really easily:(). Big puddles in the garden and have a flooded bit at the back:( - the ground seems to dip there and really must try to do something about it, but low on the priority list of spending!
Marmiterules & Dannie, thanks for the suggestions. I tried soya many years ago (and hated it) but may have another go, especially for use in cooking. Most powdered milks have lactose in but I think you can now get rice based ones so, again, will look into that too the next time I'm in town!:)
I did get to thinking last night as although it's expensive, the difference it's made is staggering - and you can't really put a price on that....
Anyway, just popping in to declare No 5 - I know it's early but there's no chance I'm going anywhere in that rain! A day to be spent clearing out storage boxes (that I've not been in for at least a year) I think!
Have a good one everyone, hope the weather's a bit better where you are.Grocery Challenge £211/£455 (01/01-31/03)

Jintyb,
You may disagree as you live there all the time, but I love Edinburgh and don't mind if it rains when I'm there! It is the nicest city I've ever been to and if I could afford to move/work there I would. It'll hopefully brighten up soon though. Enjoy the rest of the weekend.
