Nargleblast - I hope it isn't too bad. I had the same happen to me earlier this year. Unfortunately it's worth spending the money to go to someone good - I had one crown that had such sharp edges I kept cutting my cheek.

beanielou - good luck with clearing! You can always try contacting the unis to see if they'll accept the lower grades.

I have to say that despite their rain I'm rather jealous of those up in Edinburgh for the festival. I do love that city... and a good place to have a fab time without spending a penny at this time of year (although the temptations are numerous).

A spend day for me. I nearly got by without but had to pop out to buy sweets for my nephew's birthday party. Hopefully if I run down to the shops now I can stock up with what's needed to get by without spending for the next couple of days.

beanielou - number 7! Well done, I would love to be able to go 7 days without spending Our conservatory roof leaked so we used sealant to solve the problem and it seems to have done the trick - we’ve had a few thundery downpours and it’s still dry Bad luck for your DS too

phoenix_dragon - well done for number 3 - even if nothing is going in your sealed pot it’s staying in your purse which can only be a good thing

donna dynamo - great news for number 5. I had Mount Ironmore to conquer yesterday and I managed it, but still got more to do today Never mind, it’s done now although, again, more tomorrow....seems never to end but we must persist

kerrie gt - I used my tumble dryer today The weather was mainly nice but every now and then would be a shower and it was too irritating thinking about popping it on and off the line

cw18 - I can’t help getting whoopsies sometimes, even if it means ruining an NSD And I don’t even have the excuse of working there I actually go in on purpose

jintyb - my Grannie lives close to Edinburgh and when we visit her we always go there, it’s a beautiful city What a lovely sounding afternoon snoozing and reading!

Igamogam - At least you’ve got the dreaded T**co shop out the way and we’ll keep our fingers crossed for number 5 tomorrow

iwanttogoonholiday - I would be doing what has been suggested as well, iwtgoh If you only spend the bus fare, count it as a NSD, that way you have a more reasonable chance of keeping your purse closed the rest of the day x Also Happy Birthday

:wave:Morning everyone! No 3 NSD for me yesterday - Car now filled up with petrol so that should keep me going for the next couple of weeks at least! Aiming for at least 3-4 NSDs this week as the freezer is full so there is no need for any shopping trips. fingers crossed !!!!

I declare, I declare, I declare... NSD numero 1 of August firmly in the bag!

Hoping for NSD 2 today, but that depends on the petrol situ, and whether I go to B&Q for the polyfilla. Actually, I'm not going to count that as a spend, as it is necessary for getting the deposit back... so will generate more money in the end. Hopefully. Same goes for bulky item collection by council (SO expensive... but I have a double bed and mattress to get rid of, and an old 3-door ford fiesta in which to do it... even my spacial awareness isn't bad enough to attempt that :rotfl:)

Nope dannie My mistake, it says on the first page that you are aiming for 18, I just read on your post 6/7 and thought you meant 6 out of 7 NSD's and not 6 NSD's out of the 7 days of August
