do I add this once Ive found out how much Ive made or once amazon pay out?? Ive added my ebay money but thats sat in my paypal account, but with quidco Im waiting till they pay out. personally I think Ill count it when I know how much Ive made once I post it. any ideas??
Personally I have included my Ebay money (less fees) as I could convert it into actual cash (like you it's in my Paypal account and will stay there until the next time I reach over £50 when it is free to transfer to my bank account). I included £2.97 which I have been paid by Quidco but not the balance that is still due. I don't think it matters that much so long as you can keep track. I have set up a spreadsheet which totals everything but also lists where the money is (or what it was used for)0 -

THANK YOU! I dont feel quite so stoopid now!!
Easy mistake to make huh?!!! :rolleyes:0 -
I'm not trying to wish my life away but I wish 8oclock would hurry up!! All but 1 of my ebay listings end at 8 and I cant wait to see how much I've made!! I keep checking them but they're not doing anything, I'm still at £47 on 5 items, I hope they go up a lot more than that.
My travel cot is worth more than £10 and my tailors dummy is only at £20..I paid £300 for it *sobs*
I'm so impatient!! I'm going to find more stuff to list on amazon.....0 -
Have decided to sort some of my Uni books out and am in process of puttings some of them onto Amazon. Have got a few CD's on it already (have sold around 10 things on amazon but not really got much on it nowadays). At least they'll be on it without incurring costs until they sell!
I find that every time my parents go on holiday something sells on Amazon and as they're planning a big trip in a couple of months I better start putting for sale!
Must go through my DVD's / CD's / books to see what I should try and sell, I recently realised that I never watched the DVD's more than once or twice so got a monthly subsciption in the end and they'll be cancelled in a few weeks as I'm not too happy with service, can I put the savings from that on this challenge?0 -
Just got £48 from some Mystery Shopping jobs done this weekend - should have some more from Ebay sales this week but they will go onto next weeks totals.0

I had that same thought after i saw you could get 12.50 on greasypalm for opening a savings account, checked on quidco and it was double that! I thought well this is great, I get a nice savings account to store my challenge money and £25 to start it off! Went to sign up, you have to be over 25 to open one. That sucks, never mind though!
Couple of my tips, I play the little games on www.tombola.com, its free to sign up, and i can vouch for them, I won £50 once! Was well pleased! If you fancy signing up i think theres a box for current member email, then if you win, i win a voucher as well i think! PM me if you fancy it
Also, I love car boot sales for stuff to sell on, I find them better than charity shops for bargains, but you do get the bonus of giving to charity! :A That being said, you can pick up some good stuff, but not for big profit, as I think they sometimes check the net for things that might be worth a bit, and rightly so, they should get the max they can!
Anyway, yeah you can get good bargains with an early start (get the good stuff before everyone else) and at the end too, Ive seen loads of people who just want to get rid of their stuff and are willing to really drop the price, and throw extra free bits in. I love haggling with sellers, its great!
My best bargain was a roll of fabric for £5. I put it on ebay for 99p a metre and sold about 8/9 with that, then a lady came and picked up 15 metres for £15 cash in hand, it was only then i unrolled and counted the lot, I had got over 30 metres!! It was funky ikea stuff too, ive still got about 12 metres left to sell on ebay when i get round to it, lol
Cant wait for it to warm up a bit, so I can get back out to those car boots!
Anyone else got any car boot bargain stories?0
