  • how are you doing in the challenge woa? Im just nosey and love looking at everyones sigs, notice you dont have one though. or is it a secret till the weekly update?

Ummmm, not incredibly well. I'm still at zero :rotfl:

I've done two overtime shifts for the challenge, but am not including it til payday

Just cant seem to get round to ebaying all my stuff. I tend to do big extravagant descriptions which take, like, an hour per listing. Maybe I just need to write 5 or so lines of plain text per item, a few piccies, and move onto the next item.

No longer using this account for new posts from 2013
  • According to Ebays seller help you're supposed to write about how good the item is and why somebody would want to buy it.....mine consist of basic details - What it is, what condition and what to do when won!!! Oh well, maybe thats why some aren't selling!!!
One of mine is even more vague - dont know if its ever been used, dont know if it works, bits missing but dont how much of it!!! I dont know how much its really worth but its at £50 so I'm not gonna complain! My ex was given it for some reason and its been in the garage for well over a year, just moved every now and again when its in the way!!!!
But i'm up to £103 now!! :j I'm not moving from this spot til 5 past 8!!!!
  • awwwww! poor you! but you know the tale of the tortoise and the hare (or was it rabbit!) perhaps your the hare, we will all burn out in the next few weeks and you will overtake us!

if its books and dvds saves much more time by using amazon as thats all done for you! only problem is you dont know when it will sell, at least with ebay you know one way or another by a certain date.

you could always write a short description and add more later! or do what I did and have templates for the stuff that you want to write on every auction
finally debt free and want to keep it that way!!
  • I'm not far off the mark either Wings of Ambition! I like you have been putting in over time at work and have signed up for some extra sundays, but won't be counting it until next pay day! Never mind!
    Just trying to be me.....
