Feeling a little left out.
Am I the only one who has yet to get out of the starting blocks with this challenge?
I've got no bids/watchers on the few items I have put on eBay.
Not been able to go out on long walks so haven't found any change on the pavements. Roll on the calmer weather.
However I have requested some vouchers and cheques from cashback sites which should arrive next week.
Well done to everyone else participating in the challenge you all seem to have got off to a flying start. :T0 -

I'm going to post the 'submission instructions' a bit later. :cool:0 -
Just done my first shop since I started the challenge. A general question:
Can we claim BOGOFs and multibuys towards our totals ? if we would be buying the products anyway?
thanks

finally all my books are showing in my seller account, but the dvds are still showing as closed, I dont know why?
have had contact from the last buyer from ebay, he wants to send a cheque so that will save on ebay fees! still unsure of what to do with the problem buyer from France.
Thinking of opening a cahoot account through quidco specifically for the challenge, that way I can get £25 back and also use the interest towards the challenge, looked at the A&L account but there is a minimum monthly deposit of £500 required and I dont think Ill meet this through the challenge (I know my money making will slow down after the first few weeks when I have nothing left to sell)finally debt free and want to keep it that way!!0 -
had 5 watchers on one of my items on ebay and now got my first bid of £10. only ends tomorrow afternoon so hopefully will get a few more bidsback to comping in 2017, fingers crossed :beer:0

Hmmm, technically you are saving money you would have spent anyway, but you're not actually making any. Your overall change in bank balance is negative.
I would say (in classic buck-passing fashion) its your call. If you feel that you should be able to add it to your total, go ahead and do so.
I personally would think its only valid if you then stick the cost of the 'free' item into your 'invisible pot' and use it to pay off debts (which is the aim of this forum and challenge). If you just spend it on something else, it doesn't count.0
