  • I have had a bit of a poor day challenge-wise. The CDs I have listed on Amazon haven't sold yet and in the end I counted up one of my copper jars and deposited the £4.00 (yippee-do!!) into my challenge account. Still got a few things to turbo-list ready for uploading to Ebay tomorrow evening. What is the weekly target for bronze by the way, I don't think I will be anywhere near this week. I might have to offer to do an extra shift at work in a couple of weeks to bump it up if I am straggling.
I did buy 2 disposable cameras in Boots (Fuji ones) which were marked at £7.99 for 2, and at the checkout I was only charged £4.99 for the 2, but as the saving isn't in physical money I don't want to include that in my total.
Everyone else seems to be doing remarkably well...I may have to look into this matched betting, it does seem a bit scary though.
    Bronze Challenge Total - £331.23
Weight loss challenge: target 1 stone, currently 3 lbs.
  • will update my total next at the end of the month, two reasons

looking for work so will prefer to dedicate a set time so i don't miss a cost or miss a sale

    and

i'm trying to be as frugal as possible, so saving as much of my pay as possible and will only know what the saving will on the 25th of the month (never had more than £10 left by the time the salary went in so anything over that is money that i have saved)

maybe i'll update when my paypal total reaches £50

does that long ramble make any sort of sense?

  • I am off the mark! :T

Came out £50 up from jackpotjoy and £20 CB. Accepted a mystery shop today £15.00 and did one on Friday £5, sold a book on amazon today but only little. So to start me off I am £76.50!!
  • Hi

Congrats on the Amazon sales ihatechoosingnames - that's brilliant. It feels great, doesn't it?

I've had my £100 M&S vouchers from work and I've had £42.83 from Amazon, so my total is now £192.83. The vouchers were a great boost for this month's target.

    Morning! It's 10p day today :j

Sorted out the whole pile of stuff last night, and I now know roughly where everything is. :rotfl:

My US buyer is being difficult about postage, but I should still clear a £5 from that sale.

  • I always think listing on an ebay 10p/5p day is a bad idea, as there are so many auctions going on, and it becomes a buyer's market.

As for Amazon, how many books are you people putting on!? I have about 30-40 up there, and get maybe 1-2 sales a month, if I'm lucky!

I'm confused with Amazon, how does a 1p book make anything but a massive loss?
