  • I am actually going to use the money from the last challenge! hopefully in june but you have to keep it a secret :shhh:

I had told myself that I was going to attempt surfing before I reach 30 and as I have a little over 3 years left thought I had better start getting my act into gear!

well at work this week I found out that I could do it through them, it costs £40 and that includes a day and a halfs beginners course and accomodation in cornwall for 2 nights. so with that and petrol (some of which I can claim back) the £60 should just about cover it!

and its a bargain because I looked at it last year when I was in Newquay and a half days surfing lesson was £45!

as I said you have to keep it secret as I wanted to surprise everyone I know once Ive done it! as there are people who wont believe Im going to do it! Im soo excited :j
finally debt free and want to keep it that way!!

Anyone else been using their challenge money or are you like fdf and can't spend it?:D

    Hi Sea

I've been sending every single penny of mine to my credit card. Every time I submit a new total here, I send off the same amount of money to debts. I'm getting so close to having a zero balance on my cc I can almost smell it - and it's all thanks to this challenge!

    Kind regards

A couple more matched bets settled last night so total for week 10 was £320.88 getting me to £1706.67.

Should have another £77.88 clear later today but will count that towards next week's total!

I am at £841.34 so will PM ya - however, my additional ebay money will only become apparent at 7pm tonight when all the auctions finish - doh - will have to wait until next Sunday for the proper new total. Still, hopefully by then it will be huuuuuge ha ha... Then next Sunday I will have 14 items finishing.... maybe some of them will go BIN during the week to boost my totals a bit...

I think this has been my worst week, only £14.58 to add, all from Amazon. The good news is the cheque for £400 from the pet insurance people looks like it will be coming this week.

Well, I've worked out that between last week and this week I've made a grand total of..... (drum roll please)....... £2.98 after fees!!!!

    bah

But at least himself has found a job at long last, so next month we should be better off. By the way, our council tax payments will be going down from May (we were paying arrears), so can I include the difference? I'm going to be saving it towards a holiday so it's money that I wouldn't have otherwise.
