    Hi

Great about the book selling :)

Have started a NPB dispute against the buyer who hasn't paid - and guess what item it is? Yep, the bloody saab deflecter! I think it's jinxed now!

Hope all have a good selling/money saving weekend - was going to list a few things last night on ebay but tiscali went down - grr.

  • I haven't been able to do much...OH on nights and sleeps in the computer room. Will have to get some more stuff onto Ebay next week or I might as well give up on this challenge. My amazon books and CDs are going nowhere fast (mostly kids books..the market is flooded with them). Fortunately get 3 hours OT pay on the 23rd, so can up the total next week. Hopefully will also do a carboot sale at the end of April.

Good luck everyone...keep it up, you are all doing so well!

well if I dont have a miracle tomorrow this will be the first week I make absolutely zero :(

Obviously heading for a mega week next week instead then :D

Today I got £60 for my dad's dishwasher, made just over £50 on matched betting and paid my weekly £25 (saving by sacking the cleaner) off my credit card. So a good challenge week for me this week and I am now over the £2000 mark - two thirds of the way there!

I am away on hol in a couple of weeks so need to stay ahead of myself so that I can afford the week away.

I am amazed at how much we can all raise in a relatively short space of time just by focussing a bit. Well done everyone, we are all doing fantastically :T :T

  • Hi there, just thought I should just log on (haven't for ages) to this chat and warn you about Pureprofile. I think I may have put forward this bunch in a previous posting as survey companies to join

Anyway, I requested payment of £25 on January 23rd and I am still awaiting payment. I have emailed their customer service several times and they keep fobbing me off and most recently ignored me. Anyway, I thought I would try and find a phone number but instead I came across a website called Survey Police they are the ombudsmen for survey companies (worth looking at if you are wanting to know how good or bad survey companies are) and it would seem that I am not the only not being paid. So if you are with them I would stop clicking through their advertisements and doing their surveys. I have logged a complaint with the Survey Police but not sure this is going to lead to me getting paid.

Anyway, hope this helps someone and if you are having problems also then please file a complaint with the survey police so their ranking goes down and people will be put off joining them.

    Caz

p.s. once upon a time they did pay up but I read another forum that said they overestimated how many people would be able to qualify and redeem so quickly so they have stopped paying out.

Made another £48.08 matched betting. Am just £30 off my week 14 target at the end of week 10 - wonder if I can make another £30 today! ;)

Was ill so missed last week - are we sending totals anywhere now?

    Thanks

The auctions are doing well, 9 watchers on my short dress now and 11 on the bike jacket. I can't wait til tomorrow! They end at 19:00 tomorrow and I then have 10 new items automatically being listed at 19:00.

Fingers crossed tomorrow will go well - it's my only shot at making any more money for the challenge this week!

Have £107 in Paypal but no feedback from the buyer yet, so am going to leave the cash in Paypal until he confirms receipt and that he is happy.

Woooo-hoo. Just sold around 100 postcards for £1.25 - how depressing! Thought I would get more... still, one less thing in the house to move in 2 weeks time!
