I've just got my first invitation to a focus group next week. £35 for an hour and a half discussion, can't be bad! Had a fairly good week on Amazon, sold 3 cds and a couple of items on ebay. Just realised I still haven't been paid for a mystery shop I did back in January (grass roots). Will have to chase them.

Im sure I can make it through the challenge! my friends, family and collegues cant believe how much I have made, think they would faint if I showed them all your results!

cant help thinking that £10 per person could have been better spent on a slightly more expensive hotel (which we have yet to book) or spending money whilst there!

on the challenge front my car boot sale box is still going well, just need the weather and a long weekend from work to do it!

also my habits must be rubbing off! my best friend is having a car boot sale this weekend (she must be crazy!) to raise spending money for her holiday!

You will be amazed that you can get the hotel for nothing! I am going to Milan and paying nothing for 3 nights in a 4* hotel - in fact I am getting an extra £100 from EasyHotels as well, so free hotel all together plus free £100 spending money! I only have the flights to pay at £45 each return, which I have already booked.

Just some Ebay profits to add this week.....£30. Looking forward now to the spring when the car boot sales start and I can hopefully do a couple of those to boost my total. Still very slow progress compared to lots of you out there, but I am still too much of a wimp to try the matched betting...I just don't think I would get it right at all!

Busy at work this week so not much time for the challenge or the boards
but quidco paid up £69.84 and will make £19.22 matched betting for 2 mins work this morning (good odds on the first match I looked at). So holding steady...

I`m still too scared to do the matched betting,I never read anything properly and just jump in with two feet.So I`m bound to lose money and not make it.When I`ve re-read the thread about it a couple more times I`m gunna have a bash with it for a small amount of money.It`s great to see other people making quite a bit of money from it and hopefully one day I`ll join them.

are nectar points easy to spend in argos? is it just a case of giving them my card and asking to use the points? also can I use points for part payment?

sorry for all the questions but I actually forgot all about my card until we started the challenge! rarely use it as I no longer live near sainsburys!

Providing I can I want to use my 1000 points for £5 of an item that is just under £10, then hopefully I can include that £5 in my challenge money.

I need to buy the item anyway as its a birthday present for my friends little girl and by using my nectar points I will save myself £5

Hi FDF - yeah just hand your card over at the till at Argos, they will swipe it and deduct 'money' from the Nectar card should be fine and then you can save the £5 towards the challenge...

OMG I'm a bit excited and had to share!! I put a £25 freebie from matched betting on Liverpool and Man Utd to draw 0-0 and laid at BF for an expected £24 return.
And came out with £224 on an SNR!!!!:j :j

Reason is that Man Utd scored in the 92nd minute.....so Betfair paid out as they include injury time, and the bookie also paid out because they don't!!!

I realise this can also work against you, but in this case it's fab news! That's my £1K barrier broken. :T
