WoA...Have you resisted the temptation to start screaming at them? Good luck.
    Chardonnay - Well Done!!!!:j

Jet..>OUCH!! Sorry to hear that. It's happened to me several times in the early days. MB works, and it works well, but you do have to be very careful that you've backed and laid the same outcomes (hence the fact I stay away from handicaps/horse racing etc and stick to footie which I totally understand). Also, you need to make sure there's enough money in BF to lay and that you always back at the bookies before laying. Don't let it put you off....you'll come back from this set-back!

To those of you still trying to get to grips with it...perservere! It's worth it and none of us got it in a hurry......I read, watched the newbie thread and ran endless examples through the matcher before I finally felt confident enough to try it. Just stick to the rules....and never think "oh I won't bother laying this as it'll never happen and then I'll make so much more money" cos that's betting and a a mug's game....and outsiders do come in!

    Good luck all

I lost the MB money because betfairs T&C's stated that it was on the final score and the bookies T&C's stated it was on the full time score. Unfortunately there was a goal scored in extra time  . Maybe it was a lesson 2 tell me that I was getting careless and I must just learn from it n move on :D .

I was only doing football and backing and laying a draw each time.

I def intend to get back in to it when I've finished ebaying everything that I own. I've got 5 items ending today - 4 are selling at just over 12 pounds but I'm really hopeful to get over the 20 pound mark like yesterday:T :T

I love doing challenges like this coz it keeps me motivated - there's no way that I would keep going on my own:p !!

I only started the challenge properly about 1 wk/10 days ago due to a house move n various crap n am really chuffed that I'm going to be able to get over the 300 pound mark today:j :j (Although if I'd stuck to the personal targets I set myself at the begining of the challenge I should hv bn just over the 800 pound mark:o )

  • Payday today....so I can add the £124.00 I earned doing an extra shift a couple of Sundays ago. Should make some money on Ebay when my auctions end on Sunday, but probably won't be able to list any more as I am on a 12 hour shift (unless I turbolist a few items tonight!)

    Today's additions:

    £7.47 from matched betting
£1.00 coffee vouchers received in the post
    £2.61 ebay profit
    £10.00 mystery shop

so total added today = £21.08

A couple of things end on ebay at the weekend but I have been lazy this week as far as ebay is concerned and have nothing else on there so need to get my act together and get listing again.
