  • Just had a look on the garden section of this site and had an idea.

one of the posts said you can get cheap black buckets usually used by florists for storing cut flowers in now remember this is only an idea and I don't know if it will work...
take a bucket put some holes in it carefully (and if it has a lip on it this will be easier) tie some string/rope around the top and make it look like the chain on a hanging basket.
hope this is a good idea, if not freecycle/ebay? for proper hanging baskets.

Our local Morrisons sometimes sell used Black Flower Buckets.
They are taped together in bundles of about 7 or 8 usually about £1
Ours are near the Cut Flowers,if you dont see any its worth asking.
Dont forget to put drainage holes in them.

this was the post I pulled the info from.

I'm going to list everything bar kitchen sink on ebay 2moro n then get started on matched betting.

My hoover has passed away - I paid 18 pounds (my pound sign won't work) to get it fixed a month ago n it's the same thing thats happened again. I threw the receipt away 2 days ago!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm still going to take it back to the shop n c if they'll fix it for free n if they won't I'm going to buy a new one (using kelkoo n quidco of course).

I'm really pleased with the interest in my ebay listings from last week - first lot of stuff ends on thurs so hopefully should be a good challenge week.

  • i've reduced my sky package from 18 pounds to 15 pounds so 4 months from march till end of challenge x 3 pounds saving = 12 pounds to add to total

also got a juicy brains survey and reached my payout of 5 pounds so converted it to amazon vouchers. i was able to cancel an order i'd already placed and will use this voucher to get 5 pounds off. so five pounds to add to total

17 pounds in total to add :j

£30.44 to add from ebay and amazon after postage and fees.

I am starting to gear myself up for car boot season - all the stuff that is not worth putting on ebay but too good to chuck can go to the car boots come spring time (too cold at the moment to even contemplate such an early start!!).

Hopefully, that will give me a good amount to add to my total towards the end of the challenge with the added bonus of actually being able to get into our garage!!!

Mizmir, if you are around at some point, I may wish to pick your brains about the matched betting now you are such a pro and I am being such a wimp!!!
