evening all im back from my break so not much to add. started auctions on amazon again and sold 3 things today giving me £10.73 and has some ebay things finishing tonight that made me £14.48. so not a bad start but well behind on my target and dont know how im going to make it up.
back to comping in 2017, fingers crossed
  • Well I had a bit of a poor Ebay night..only made £3.00 selling 3 items and failing to sell 5 items which I had listed for the second time aswell, so mega fees for very little income overall. Then the winning bidder from one of my items emailed me just before the auction ended and said they had bidded in error (son had pressed the "bid now" button). I told them to retract their bid before the auction ended and they didn't, and ended up winning the item. So I sent them an invoice, but I can't see them paying for it. I am going to have to take a serious look at what is selling on Ebay, as if I carry on like this I won't get anywhere near the challenge target. I have been asked to do an extra 5 hours at work next Saturday so that should help!

Good luck everyone for the week ahead!

Another item sold on Amazon, the total is slowly creeping up.
CC2 = £8687.86 ([STRIKE]£10000[/STRIKE] )CC1 = £0 ([STRIKE]£9983[/STRIKE] ); Reusing shopping bags savings =£5.80 vs spent £1.05.Wine is like opera. You can enjoy it even if you don't understand it and too much can give you a headache the next day J

  • Just got my last 20 points on pigsback, so a £10 boots voucher is on its way! will use it for my essentials in boots and then give myself the money to put towards the challenge. So Ill have that to look forward to!

Today the house is empty so I am finally going to through all my stuff ready for the car boot sale. Have decided I might just sell everything for £1 as there isnt that much of value there, just stuff that might come in handy for others that I dont actually need.

Good luck for week 6 everybody x

  • congratulations jpwhittle!

I have just applied to istockphoto.com have passed the test and uploaded 3 photos now waiting to see if I have been accepted. Slightly annoyed as some of my better photos from my trip to australia I couldnt use due to them not being big enough or something (they were taken with an aps camera and scanned onto my computer, perhaps that has something to do with it!)

to anyone who uses istockphoto what kind of pictures do you put on there?

the ones I thought of putting on there are holiday photos, which everyone tells me should be postcards and a collegue thought I had stuck the odd postcards in my album! Not wanting to blow my own trumpet but they are pretty good, took a year long photography course at college so they are not just snaps, I am very picky with my pictures!
