not necessarily - online billing on orange shows unbilled charges.
Please don't tell someone they can't do soemthing based on assumption...
And the point she used a hell of a lot more than 16mb is the EXACT point I am making - if its EU and done from the 1st of July onwards then she would never have incurred the cost she had as she would have been limited after 16mb!0 -

well for th have a 5000 pound bill clearly means they did not come under that tariff
so they either holidayed before 1.7 or not in euReplies to posts are always welcome, If I have made a mistake in the post, I am human, tell me nicely and it will be corrected. in fact...hold the front page...you've assumed its 2011, its actually 2010.
http://europa.eu/rapid/pressReleasesAction.do?reference=IP/10/215
Under roaming Regulation ( N° 544/2009) , mobile phone operators are obliged to offer their customers from 1 st March 2010 a monthly cut-off limit of €50. They can also offer customers any other limit. They will receive a warning when they hit 80% of the chosen limit. Until 1 July 2010, customers need to make a deliberate choice in order to benefit from a cut-off limit. But, customers who do not make a choice by 1 July 2010 will have the cut-off limit set at €50 by default as from that date.
If the OP went to the EU then they should be completely covered...0 -
I know how to get more off if i know her travel date and destination. If the OP went to the EU then they should be completely covered...
These two statements are very different - you can only claim to be able to do the former IF the OP travelled within EU. No clout at all if, as expected, it was outside EU0 -
they are NOT different - I very specifically said IF I know her travel destination and date - read what I wrote - you're incorrectly correcting me.
I NEVER said at any point I could 100% guarantee getting it less - I said it depended on date and destination.
People not reading posts and trying to be clever is a bad disease round here all of a sudden.0 -

This isn't about clever - it's about a lesson in delivering what you promise. What you meant was "I may be able to get more off if I know her travel date and destination (and they fall within the legislation I want to quote)"
Otherwise I'll come to you with my £200 roaming bill from Kuwait in June '10 and you can tell me how much you can get off.0 -
How pedantic are some people on here, someone is trying to help somebody yet people see the need to try and pick the post apart because of the way it was worded.0

Who are you my dad?
You think you can teach me a lesson?
I meant what I said, and I was very particular on what I said.
If I said 'I can get it for less no matter where it was to' then you would have some grounds...unfortunately for you, your lack of understanding and refusal to accept you read it wrong really is your issue, not mine.
As for your roaming bill, again your problem - buy an atlas0 -

Which is surely why the OP came on here to get advice for their problem which visidigi has quite clearly highlighted.
i understood what they meant - i think some of you are getting a little bit pi55y cos they proved you a little bit wrong."If you no longer go for a gap, you are no longer a racing driver" - Ayrton Senna0
