    Can't help you there :D.

Possibly "password" if you never changed it from default. You may have to reset the router to factory settings to get back in.

If its still in default it could be password (all lower case) or admin (all lower case)...

I have now found the password. The MAC address is coming up on, so I'm guessing this demonstrates a connection?

When you say MAC address is coming up - is it listed under the allowable list of devices section of the router setting?

If its ok on the router end - and you are keying in the right password from phone end - then is the phone set to use WiFi ?
Is WiFi turned ON, on the phone? And mobile internet turned off?

There is a guide here to follow to narrow down the problem

I've uploaded a picture of what I can see here:http://img69.imageshack.us/img69/8195/baaaaa.jpg

I am keying in the correct password from the phone end - I have purposefully typed it in wrongly to check if it makes a difference as it wouldn't connect.

wifi is on too (I see this symbol http://www.htc.com/europe/howtoimage.aspx?id=754) and mobile internet is turned off...

Its hard to tell what the problem.

The two "unknown" devices, is one of them your phone? And other is?
If you disconnect phone - does one of them disappear from router settings?

64-a7-69-96-b2-cb is the same as the MAC address for the mobile... (switched off wireless and it's showing as greyed out.. I'm guess that represents 'unconnected'.

    Whats make/model of that router?

I am out of ideas - only other thing could be something else needs to happen on the router setting.
Or you need a certificate assigned (as suggested on the htc page) but thats highly unlikely for a home network.
