Tuesday - and what a long day it was. I am soooooooooo tired, will snuggle up in bed soon I think.
I did my first asda on line shop and it came earlier this evening - well chuffed, spent £60.02 on stuff that should last 3 weeks. Just got to get odd weekly bits which I'll get hubby to get from the co-op near where he works on his way home on Mondays.
Also.....we have arranged for our financial advisor (doesn't that sound posh!) to have a look at our mortgage and he reckons he can save us at least £200 a month on it - all good! (The FA is related to a friend and got us a good deal last time).
It's starting to get cold again but I refuse to put the heating on until the end of oct so hubby and visitors will have to wear jumpers or snuggle one of the dogs!!
Well off to bed now, night all.If you wait for perfect conditions, nothing would ever get done! :T

All fired up!!!!!!!!
Having been ill all weekend and panicking about money (as you do) a little spark of Martin's forced its way into my brain admist the paracetemol and self-sympanthy and went OY!!!!! YOU!!!!! read my stoozing credit shuffle thing.
So I did.
And here's the plan:
At the mo (besides the loans) I have 3 credit cards and pay £208 in total towards them each month.
If I balance transfer what I can onto the 2 with a lower rate of interest I will save myself £437 in interest!!!!! Woohoo!
So when the next statement comes in from the really high card, I'll see if the other 2 will do a BT for me.
ALSO
I have had a wee pay rise of £500 a year which works out about roughly an extra £30 a month.
Once Xmas is over (and hopefully I'll save some on that as I've already saved for it and seem to have overestimated) come Jan I won't have to save anything for Xmas for 3 months, council tax is not taken feb and march (extra £92 there).so that's an extra £274 I can fling at my debts!!!!!
Appartently we get a bonus in Jan as well (not counting on this) and I did get it last Jan..............but broke hubby's glasses in a hissy fit........ahem.........bang went the bonus!
Whaddya reckon!!If you wait for perfect conditions, nothing would ever get done! :T

Thank you! Looking at how much I've repaid already looks astonishing. I do get a bit fed up with having to turn invites out to parties etc down, but it will be worthwhile...........my trouble is I try and do everything all in one go!If you wait for perfect conditions, nothing would ever get done! :T

Not debt wise but work wise!!!!!!!!!!!!
Woke up really happy cos I could save myself £40 this month by transferring big apr card balance to smaller apr balance, then thought great I can stock up the dogs' freezer with loads of cheap butcher cuts (meat not the butcher lol) and then everything came crashing down............
1 dog found 2 hedgehogs and barked his head off on his morning walk. Not great for other people at 6.30 am!!!
Work - system went down with no warning.
People hassling me
More hassle
Over microwaved my quiche at work for dinner and burnt my mouth
Meeting in the afternoon went on 30mins longer than necesaary
Changing the water in one of my fishtanks, nearly skiided on the floor and hurt my knee
asda online shop came ok, only 1 error
went to watch my tv fix of stuff I recorded................^&$%£^ media centre taped NOTHING!!!!!
Fed up now! and for some bizarre reason my feet really hurt!!!
Gonna surf for a bit then go to bed and sulk....................

What a horrible day:eek: . Look on the bright side....maybe you've got all the nasties out of the way all at once and the rest of your week will be calm and hassle-free. I hope so.
Well done on the £40 saving:j . At least one thing went right for you this week.
Take care

Thankfully all the spending is out of the way this month - phew!
Done a load of Xmas shopping, stocked up on the freezer for us and the dogs (always a big spend but lasts ages), got all the bitty bits, like my car tax stamps, electric, bonus ball at work etc.Oh and a £6 trim at the hairdressers. I have had to use my cc ( ) but it was the first time in months.
Back on the straight and narrow now...
Made a big stew and dumplings for tea, we ate half of it and I've portioned the rest for 2 lunches at work next week. And I saved all the gravy too!!!! Go me!
We have been challenged at work to make a Xmas cake which should be interesting as I've never made a cake in my life!!! Think it will be more brandy than cake!
See ya'll later xxxxIf you wait for perfect conditions, nothing would ever get done! :T

Well my boozy Xmas cake is cooking nicely in the oven!!!! The smell of brandy when I opened the container with the fruits and cherries in.........wow! I thought it had all shrunk at first but it seems ok now. I've been good and not opened the oven! LOL smells wonderful.
Only another 2 1/2 hours to go..........If you wait for perfect conditions, nothing would ever get done! :T
