  • I'm getting really cross with Debenhams online now!

1st of all they cancelled 6 items from my order, then they reduce an item 12 hours after I ordered it and won't price drop it on my order even though it's still being processed after 5 piggin days!

Now I've just checked my bank account and they've taken £7.82 when the order total is £32.66 (was £50.48 before cancellations)

What's all that about??? I've emailed them for the 3rd time and just got the standard you'll get a reply within 3 days message back!
  • Has anyone checked out Lakeside or Romford or even Cambridge? Want to know if it's worth making a trip!

    Hi
If it helps, what happened to me is that they took out the money when they dispatched the items so that they did not have to refund if the items were then out of stock. Took me several phone calls to find this out but it may be what they are doing with you. They took out the money for my order in 2 seperate payments.

Had most of my items cancelled. Very annoyed as I really wanted the cash register and was told it was coming yesterday. Received a letter today saying no. Even worse I nearly picked on up instore the other day but thought no I've ordered online sure it will be ok

I wouldn't hold your breath, I got a letter today saying all of my order except a pirates of the caribean set for £1.87 had been cancelled cos it was out of stock and they had the cheek to charge me £3.50 postage, I'm going to write a letter of complaint.

Same for me... I got charged postage so the pirates of the caribean is hardly a bargain anymore... really disappointed as I rang to cancel and couldn't..

Just got my delivery today and according to the invoices I have been overcharged on lots of things.

For example ordered 20Q game at £6.75 and have been charged £15.75!!

    Anyone else had any problems??

Not sure what has gone from account so will have to check, what a pain if I have to take it all back!!
