I have used them a few times. This was because a work colleague wanted to send flowers to a secret admiree, but he doesn't have a bank account or credit card.

In true moneysaving style, I offered to help him out and told him the price etc. He accepted the deal, but I also went through quidco (which he doesn't know about) and pocketed the difference.

They use nochex, rather than directly using credit cards, but luckily it all went through on Egg with no problems.

I don't know about the quality of the flowers, but they did arrive. However these gifts were not welcome after about the 5th time, despite him saying that she was excited about them etc. But she didn't even know who was sending them, and it was freaking her out.

It was only when I saw her and asked her if he had made a move yet, that she twigged where the roses were coming from.

Needless to say, my workmate had a talking to, for stalking. I felt bad, cos I had made it possible (and I profited via quidco cashback!!)

As for the quality of the flowers, I don't know anything about that, cos apparently they just went in the bin!! All I know is that they were delivered as promsed!!

I've been receiving the year's supply of flowers very happily. Although the bouquets are not huge they are pretty, well-packed, varied and better quality than tesco (long lasting). The December little purple irises were especially beautiful.

I tired using their service in November to deliver birthday flowers for my mums birthday, but they never arived. I sent a letter direct to Russell and someone else got back to me to appologise but said that because I hadn't ordered them with the option of parcel delivery they were not responsible. I sent another email telling them that I would not be using the service again and I would be telling all of my friends and family about my experence andgot a responce from his right hand woman to say she would re send free of charge. I accepted the offer and they sent out a bigger and better boquet of flowers.
So it's worth persuing compaints because it looks like they do try to do something about it.

I got a refund from them just before Christmas. I have only had one problem with them from lots of orders I have previously ordered. However I ordered a door wreath for delivery in the first week of December. Told them about three times until 20th December when it still hadn't arrived and sent them an email telling them I wanted a refund. As a "gesture of goodwill" they refunded my money. Wreath turned up on 22nd December!

I will think twice at least before I order from them again. The best flowers ever were the freesia ones. I sent three lots of those to people and each one was superb! Perhaps I'll stick to those if I ever order from them again.

    :(

I was offered a refund on 1st December on my remaining subscription for "flowers each month for a year" which have been pretty terrible. Have chased several times - told finance dept would issued all refunds by the end of the month.

    STILL NO REFUND RECEIVED:mad:

Crap, promised to send me replacement before the new year for the rpish roses they sent. Never arrived.

Avoid and buy your flowers locally
  • I ordered the flowers for a year. I never recieved any in October, nor in November but at beginning of December I recieved the small daffodils but these were dead on arrival was told these were November's flowers. I have since got some small purple flowers, I think these are Decembers flowers. I have been told I would get an upgraded bunch because I am still missing October's & November's went straight in the bin due to them being dead - still waiting for these!

I often send flowers to friends & family who don't live local, where else can I order good flowers at a good price? Most of the ones I have ordered from Value Flora cost me less than £10, some with chocolates too.
