Well Ive finished the first chapter and sent it off and was feeling all smug about being half way.... then I realised it's half past six! Half way has taken all day! And I left the harder one til last.

But getting to the top of the mountain is uphill all the way.......you are still only half the distance when you get to the top.

The second half is downhill.......much easier and done in half the time.

I've finally sent off the second document. Hoorah!

Now all I have to do is edit a 35,000 word document today and I will have just about caught up. Luckily it's only a language check, not much thought required.

Oh well done on getting that sorted. For two reasons 1) that you have it done, and it will give you a boost that you can do it and 2) it will show OH that taking responsibility for the children DOES produce results.

Good for you and good look with the 60k proof reading:eek: . By the way did you stop working in the post office?

I didn't get even half way through the proof-reading so pressing on with that now....

I haven't worked in the Post Office for a while now. I said I'd always help out in an emergency but I can't do it regularly. They haven't got anyone else and I feel rather guilty to think of them both working seven days a week, but I know that's not my fault.
