Hi Seax, thanks for your welcome.

I have sent you a pm as I am a little worried about what the admins would think about me 'advertising' my site on here.

If you have a look on your profile, there's a space to put a "home" URL.

    Thanks.....

I am always careful about putting my site details on any other forums just in case.....you just never know with some admins.

Now off to update my profile (something I haven't done yet so it will probably be missing quite a few details!)
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.

I've updated my signature now that I've transferred OH's debt onto my Virgin card.

It is galling that my total has leapt up again, when I was getting close to 30k. So I've updated the start figure to include his loan, showing we have paid off £14,883.23 since January 07.

And still have £34.504 to go. It feels daunting.

My work situation is still a bit worrying. I've had plenty of odd bits of work come in, just a day or two here and there, so it's reassuring there is work out there. But I do need something more long-term and regular. The 3 day/week job I heard about recently has turned into a web assistant job, so probably not worth going for. But a friend who works in a PR company has mentioned they have work for me. This work is very well paid but I really hate it.

Effectively you're 1/3rd of the way there, in one year.

You will get there...I know how it feels though and can sympathise with you as I have upped my figures loads of times as well and it's disheartening. We will get there in the end though.I'm sure you will sort the job front out soon though.

Hi Seaxwyn. Those figures will soon be tumbling again - and the overall figures are heading in the right direction.

I hope you can get the work situation sorted so that you get your balance right xxx

Thanks for the encouragement folks. I feel pretty anxious about money to be honest. I have had very little income this month, and won't have all that much next month either. And we have no idea how much OH will be paid in April. The system is unfathomable.

Then there are lots of outgoings. We'll get my Abbey CC bill with half my skiing holiday spending on it - ski hire and tuition, I have no idea how much this will be.

And as ever we need to buy various things, including a pair of trainers for DD2. My twin DDs and I are all running regularly, we all have the same size feet and we have two pairs of trainers between us. We have managed fine up til now, but now all three of us want to run on Thursday evenings, so we need a third pair.

I want to enter myself and the kids into a local fun run - that would be £22 entry fees. It seems hard to justify but we really want to do it.

I know that i need to bite the bullet and tout for work but I keep putting this off. I hereby resolve to start making calls on Monday, when the kids are back at school.

I am with you on the money front - because I am not working this month, I will not be paid at the end of April

I will be with you, holding your hand, as we go and get our supplies of the Big Issue :D

Enjoy the next few days "off" and get fully geared up for hunting for work on Monday xx

Thanks hypno, I knew you'd understand.

At least you have the certainty of a salary next month though. I may never work again!
