    if barclaycard is the trading name of barclays bank plc, can i send my credit card statement requests off too barclays bank and not barclaycard itself

    NO!

    They are the same company, but completely different divisions.

    You must direct all correspondence directly to Barclaycard. I'm sure your letters would be diverted eventually but would cause further delay, and trust me Barclaycard will delay you ridiculously anyway!!

    hi there,
    personally i just sent it to my local branch by recorded mail, posted it on the 25th feb and my charges arrived today so it got to where it was supposed to go (birmingham)

  • Hello forumites,

    Just downloaded and printed the first stage address of the process, the data by DPA 1998.

    I phoned the bank anon and they gave me a completly different address to the one given on a forum thread. Good job I searched before sending the letter.

    Now, as I don't normally send cheques who do I send the £10 cheque to?
