he has done alright for himself ...what does a 21 year old see in a 33 year old lol (MONEY)

why would an older bloke just have money? at 21 she's probably working herself, doesn't have a mortgage / rent / bills etc and she probably has more disposable income than him.
I'm 35 and sort of 'seeing' a 21 year old and she's still living with her mum so she has a fraction of my outgoings.

well i am 28 and the Mrs is 43 (14.5 years inbetween us) we met when i was ~20 and she was ~35 she had 2 children from her previous marrage then aged ~6 and ~12,

now 8 years later we have been married roughly 5 years and have a child between us who is 3.

money was certainly not an attraction as she had none
    Drop a brand challenge
on a £100 shop you might on average get 70 items save
    10p per product = £7 a week ~ £28 a month
    20p per product = £14 a week ~ £56 a month
30p per product = £21 a week ~ £84 a month (or in other words one weeks shoping at the new price)

Well she's not quite young enough to be his daughter. At 21, maybe she's impressed with the money and maturity. Time will tell. You're right to give it time

my post was slightly tounge in cheek .. my real belief is no matter what age you are as long as they are consenting adults then its up to them

There are 17 years between my friends parents they were married when she was 16 and are still happily married 40 years later... There are 11 years between my sister and her hubby too.. that is the way of it.

At 18 I am fairly sure you son is quite capable of handling the fact his dad has a new gf and you can't really tell him when he can or cannot introduce the children to her..

It isn't like she is underage!

Again.. it is nothing to do with you..

Yes I think in a couple more years it wouldn't seem so bad actually.

I disagree about when he can or cannot introduce the children to her though, as I said he's had a couple of other girlfriends and if he'd introduced them as well it would be getting a bit much.

He did actually mention introducing one of them and I asked him to wait to be sure it was the right thing to do, they lasted 8 weeks.

By the same token, I wouldn't introduce the kids to my boyfriend until the relationship was well established either, I think it's just common sense really.
If you're going to stalk me, while you're at it can you cut the grass, feed the dog & make sure I've got bread & milk in :D

No that's what I said in my original post, it's none of my business who he sees, I am just wondering what other people think about age gaps.

I think the fact that my son is almost her age rather than very young is what is a bit odd for me. But hey they might like to same music and stuff! :rotfl:
your son might find it a bit odd too maybe you should just tell him and let him make his own mind up lol
