Morning all! :j
I'm feeling motivated today and am already proud of myself!
I have been offered some extra work today - in a shop I worked in as a student - and I was worried that my whole weekend would fall down with trying to get house sorted, school stuff done, I'm going to a friends for dinner tomorrow and I want to go measure my allotment to start planning!
HOWEVER! As I don't start till 12 I got up at 9 (even though I was shattered after first full week back at school!) and have so far:
Put one load in WM (to take out when I've sent this message)
Emptied out the recycling boxes ready to drop everything off on the way to work
Dusted and polished my bedroom, the hall, stairs and landing.
Vacuumed all of the above
Cleaned the kitchen floor
Wiped down the kitchen surfaces AND the cupboard doors
Washed the front of the fridge and freezer
Cleaned out the fridge incl. washing all shelves and salad drawer
and I'm in the middle of shining my sink now
WOOHOO!!!! :j :j :j
I have never before been this motivated on a Saturday morning and it is all thanks to you lot. :T :T :T
The shop will probably be quiet (wedding suit hire - not the busy season yet!) so I am hoping to meal plan while I'm there so I can go shopping on the way home.
Anyway, the bit I haven't done is get showered and dressed so I better get a move on!
Thanks again to everyone for inspiring me to get everything done! You're all angels! :AWandered away from the MSE track for a while but am back and on a mission! Debts cleared nearly £18k. Now to start saving ...0 -

Morning all (it is so still morning
)
Slept in, had breakfast in my PJs, but am now dressed. Just need to find some oomph.
If I post a list on here I will have to do it.
Strip bed
Washing - sheets, clothes, towels.
Spare bedroom/study
Clear clutter
Sort bookcase(s)
I need this room functional NOW
Hotspot - downstairs writing desk - so I can move 'stuff' from dining table
Try and get living room to 'visitor' level :eek:0 -
Well done all of you.
Sorry I am so late arriving but DD has come down with another sickness bug so I am flying in a slightly different direction this morning. DS has been relieved of kitchen duty as I really think his laksadasical ways are causing the problems. I am in the middle of stripping the kitchen down and bleaching and anti-baccing everything. DH has gone into town for supplies as Stardrops is not going to achieve hospital standards. He's also got instructions to buy 3 new chopping boards in different colours.
Wish me luck everyone, it's going to be a long day in the moggins household.Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

I spent all of yesterday trying to finish decorating DD's room, and ran out of paint with the final coat to go on just one wall. Aarrgh!
So, I've already had a quick trip to B&Q for more paint.
Just checking in here over a coffee - very tired, can't get going today, as DS1 out at party last night, and couldn't sleep until he texted to say he was safely back at friend's house to sleep. Since he was so ill last April, I find the anxiety levels hard to control!
Only got the washing done on yesterday's list, but hope to finish the painting, then later today and tomorrow I can move all DD's stuff back into her room and start restoring order to the rest of the house. Shopping for curtain material and lampshade this afternoon.
Sorting books has been on my list for a while, and I nearly started during the week, but there is too much chaos everywhere else for me to be able to cope with adding any more!
Have a good day everyone! It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -
Are you all still flying or is everyone asleep?
Worktops have been stripped and bleached. Cooker has been taken apart and cleaned and dettoxed. Microwave cleaned to within an inch of it's life. Bread bin emptied and washed, kettle washed, scales disinfected, knife blocks cleaned and disinfected, toaster cleaned thoroughly. All appliances dettoxed. All that's left to do now is disinfect cupboards, sort out fridge (again) and dettox that, clean sink, sweep floor and clean with dettox floor wipes.
DH has hoovered through for me. After I've finished on the kitchen I'll then go and disinfect the bathroom and toilet to kill any bugs lingering from this morning.
Uniforms now washed and out to dry.Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

Still flying, nearly literally, just been out in the garden moving everything to a less open space as the chairs, table, kids things etc having a obstacle race across the garden and something is going to end up broken! Well nearly broken myself in the process, big gust of wind came and blew the table into me and knocked me to the floor, which of course is muddy because of the rain, dog of course worryingly licking my face and trying to pull me up off the floor while the kids giggled from the window, little tikes! :rotfl: got to laugh or I'll cry but my knee and ankles really hurt
had to get changed and wash myself off as was all muddy.
DP went into work much earlier, so have it all to do and look after the boys, so will have to just try my best on tippy toes with ladders for those high jobs, anything I can't reach being a smallie will have to wait until another day when he's home.
Spent over an hour in each of the boys rooms as they were so untidy, in 20 minutes how they make an hours worth of cleaning I will never know, but it's all straight now, well ish, and they know there will be consequences if that happens again!
Oldest DS hates the vacuum cleaner so must go find his headphones so he can wear those while I get the stairs and landing done seeing as DP isn't here to take him out while I do it.
With the chopping boards, I couldn't get different colours but Tesco had a 3 pack in white for under £3 so bought those and labelled them with a coloured marker in each corner
Going to have a coffee and some peas on my ankle then crack on with the rest, hopefully won't get injured any moreOne day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -
I have spent the day so far cooking. I have made enough bolognese in SC for at least 4 meals. I have made 2 dozen fairy cakes for packed lunches. I have cleared out and cleaned half of the cupboards in the kitchen ( large kitchen). One loaf of bread made. Bought a huge box of relatively cheap washing powder from Lidl and DS obviously very allergic to something in it. Oops!!!! So had to go and buy usual brand today. Poor wee soul was covered in hives and was the other day also. All his clothes worn this week are now being rewashed. Sometimes my life is very much one step forward and two back. Thank god I hadn't ironed all this lot or I would have just fed him anti-histamines until he had worn them again lol. Bad mum!! Anyway going to spend a wee while on here and then run duster and hoover round house. Catch you all later when you land from flying. xx5 Year plan. April 2020 to June 2025- CC and mortgage free by time I'm 60
Currently CC £23,674.36 /£14,895.41/£14315.42
Mortgage £28,214.65/ £26,254.71/ £25,746.43
By end 2020 I want CC at £ 19,000.00.
By end 2021 I want CC at £10,000.000
