Mine is a basket in the living room and the whole of the hallway! DH seems to think it is storage space for 4 trumpets and a cornet, his laptop and folders full of music :(

Like you I've hit a bit of a brick wall and reckoned that it was to do with the scabby weather- I'm fed up with getting soaked and fighting the wind but worse of all is NO daylight!! Where has it gone:confused:

    Fife must be like Glasgow!!

On a more positive note I have kept up this week with Moggins list and the house is looking good:j

Even the teenagers:eek: seem to be making more of an effort:T and DH has been in on the act too:j

Now If I could apply the same discipline to eating and exercise then that would be the icing on the cake (so to speak)!

Ahh well.... baby steps, baby steps:rotfl:
  • :p You lot make me chuckle. We all sound like one big lost family. Do you think everyone is really like this only they don't admit it?

Well today hasn't been that productive for me. The baby had me up from 4:30am, so i got to 3pm and felt awful so had to go and have a lie down. I still feel really groggy so i can't see much more getting done, although i can probably manage to stick the WM on. Oh well - tomorrow is another new day. ;)

I have managed to make 4 phonecalls that i have been putting off all year, so i have sorted out vital health appointments and arranged to visit a nursery for the baby for when i go back to work. With the rate the ladies at school are popping out babies i am surprised they still have places. As this is for September, i must be quite organised really.

I do seem to have lost my recycling box though. I couldn't see it when i went to get it in, and it is still a bit breezy here. DH will have to have a better look for it.

I'm hoping Moggins task for the weekend is school uniforms again so i can catch up a bit.

    Hugs all round,
    Michelle, x

I would be here all day if I tried to list my hotspots - but that's because it got totally out of control and did spread like wildfire.
Thanks to constant getting back on the wagon after falling off I managed to get the house 'company ready' (at least best it will be without buying new carpets & sofa etc) quite quickly this morning. I even managed to wash the kitchen floor & clean the downstairs 'cloak room' before my friend arrived for her treatment.
I was so tired after doing the treatment however that I later fell asleep on the sofa, only to be woken by my eldest DS calling to see where I was.... I was late picking them up from school

Littlescarlet - don't let the flylady site scare you, it's really important to take babysteps and build it up gradually. I like to join in on Moggins F/L challenge as it's more of a marathon and I like to see results fast :D, but that's probably why I crash and burn.... I' don't know where our dear friend gets her stamina!!!
Right, eggs should nearly be poached - I even slept through my shopping time!!

    Saturdays Shift

    Dailies

Washing - make sure all clothes and uniforms needed for next week are washed and ironed.

Check for cobwebs in forgotten corners

Sort that bookcase - dispose of any that you know you are not going to read again.

Clean and dust any high shelving that you normally miss out because it's too high and you can't be bothered.

    Hoover stairs and landing.

Do nightime spruce up before you go to bed
Organised people are just too lazy to look for things
