Morning everyone,
As suspected, I didn't get much done yesterday after my full day at uni (2hours of science and 2hours of ICT, plus a meeting with my academic advisor at lunch time).
However, I did casually mention to OH that if he had a spare few minutes (his day off), could he clean out the microwave (his mess anyway, as he never covers food when he puts it in there), and I returned to find that he had cleaned said microwave! This is a HUGE thing for me, as it is the first bit of housework he has done without making a fuss about it, for over a year! :j
He had also put the DW on, and half emptied it again (I had to call him in to finish emptying it whilst I was cooking dinner, which he did).
I was quite proud of myself still, because I managed to cook a really nice vegetarian moussaka (sp?) from scratch last night, and it was the first time I'd made one of these and it was yummy. We have the rest of it to eat tonight, and OH even went back for seconds.
So, today's task is to catch up on all of the bits I've missed from moggins' list (mainly the bedroom, and cleaning the kitchen floor and oven) when our water has been turned back on. (woke up this morning to find that they are doing repair works, and our water could be off for up to 4 hours!)
Good luck to everyone today, and remember, do everything with a smile on your face, and it won't seem so bad.:D (My new year's resolution is to smile at least once a day.)Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170
