That sounds like a great buy, nearest wilkinsons to me is miles away but will have a look next time I go! Mats are usually much thinner and easier to store aswell, which is an issue for me. Well done to your DH for the good findOne day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200

Must type quickly, as I have spent ages catching up reading the daily thread and this one, and DD wants to go on MSN!
I finished the painting by 1.30pm, with DD's help - she's ace at cutting in and doing behind radiators!:T
After lunch, we did the tour of shops selling curtain material, and nearly bought some at the most expensive shop in town, mainly because I was tired by then! DD suggested we went back to Fabric Warehouse as she was pretty sure she'd seen the same fabric there, much cheaper. MSE junior star in the making, she was quite right, and saved me £15. The material is silky, duck egg blue with large outline dark chocolate flowers. She has chosen a white duvet cover with blue satin trim, and chocolate and blue cushion, very, very sophisticated!
I've only done the washing on the list, as too busy finishing decorating. I will spend tomorrow making curtains, and putting everything back in her room, and all the painting stuff in garage. This should hopefully leave enough time to whisk round tidying and cleaning all the places that will then be clear.
Moggins - I'm sorry to hear your daughter has been so poorly. I'm not sure I know how old she is, but if she is at nursery or school, there is a good chance she has picked up the bug there. I don't think schools are very good at insisting that children wash their hands after playing out, or after the loo, or before eating...It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -
moggins don't chastise your ds too much. our dss2 has had his third virus in the same time think it is going round schools (they are never sick at ours - polishes halo lol!) his school was shut down by the health board before xmas with a food poisoning virus (salmonela) married to the man of my dreams! 9-08-090

LOL so much for my early night! I've just ironed all the uniforms, repaired a rip in DS's school shirt (another one rescued from the bin), washed my hair and pampered my face with some new face creamOrganised people are just too lazy to look for things

moggins with your standards i think it is hard to believe she is picking anything up at home. more likely she is unlucky and picking up bugs at school. this is not unlikely as the whole country seems to be virus crazy:love: married to the man of my dreams! 9-08-090

The trouble is that DS was supposed to be cleaning the kitchen every evening and I only did a deep clean once a week. He'll cut every corner going if he can get away with it so I can't be sure if it's school or home she has picked it up from. I'd rather not take any chances so I'll relieve him of kitchen duty and he can learn to push a hoover around insteadOrganised people are just too lazy to look for things

Evening all.
Had a good day today, done all moggins list - chose the kitchen cupboards tops to clean, they were dusty but at least not grimy, I also sorted ds chest of drawers and wardrobe, put the small stuff on free-recycle and had it collected, so all done and finished.
Also went with whole family and dogs for a walk in the woods, and took dd for a bike ride (I walked!!) along the riverbank.
So will try to relax tomorrow and just keep on top of clutter in hot spots.
Moggins I hope your daughter feels better and manages a good nights sleepAlways on the hunt for a bargain0 -
