    hi all:)

the tree etc has already been taken down, but the lights were a tangled mess! the thought of having to untangle them next christmas before i dec the tree was not at all appetising:(

so i sorted them out and packed in a box, labeled and now put away for next christmas:) time taken: 15 mins:D

front room dusted, skirting boards wiped, hoovered and at 27 boogie done:)

sink is shiny (ive been a flybaby for years now but cant deal with all the emails, so moggins, thanks for doing this:D) so that didnt take much effort:)

other than paperwork which i will do this evening when littlies are in bed i have finished:)

*can i put me feet up now?:D

  • ..my house is a disgrace and I'm a naturally untidy person. Also, it bugs me that I'm the only one who ever tries to tidy up- family helps when nagged, but soon go back to their wicked idleness lol! Decided to clean up for myself, then try to get them to keep it tidy.

Tree down, cards down (in a bag waiting to be recycled at Tesco). Living room polished and vacuumed. Kitchen surfaces wiped down and floor vacuumed. Washing on line.

I'll have another load of washing when my son strips his bed this morning (he's going back today :() and the tree & decorations will be going back in the loft when somebody else gets up.

    Jobs for today are;

    Make the new years dinner.

Wash pots/worktops and shine my sink!

Take down all festive displays and get ex husband to bung them in the loft.

    Hoover front room and stairs.

Duster front room including daido(spell?) rail.

    WM on,BM on.

I might even push the boat out and sweep and mop the kitchen floor!

P.S what are we suppost to be doing with our old crimbo cards?

Making a list of who sent you a card and any changes of address. :)

So that next christmas you won't have to puzzle about who to send cards to, you'll have a neat little list of who and where to send them.
