    Oooh

I'm no longer a 27 fling boogie virgin

    I did it!!!!

It felt good (I struggled a bit round the 17 mark but then I had a flash of inspiration and made it to 27 easily)

Now feel motivated to do the rest.

Have also made a huge impression on my hot spot - ooh err missus! and done some more filing.

Have stopped for lunch and then off skiing for a couple of hours to blow the cobwebs away and will carry on when I get back!

Moggins - thanks for all the kicks up our respective bums. i have had the flipside of CHAOS this week - LOOPO (Lots Of Other People Over) syndrome and spent an hour and a half procrastinating this morning. Have done a Crisis clean of 15 minutes in each room so that i can now see some of the floor at least. Washing up still to be done from last night (other people promised to do it) but i have sprayed it all so it won't be too bad.
I have also listened to myself this holiday and realise that i have Perfectionist tendencies - i have passed up loads of offers of help on the basis that i'm the only one that will do it right so i am working on that this year.
can now start on normal routines - good luck with all of yours :)

Eventually, I seem to have got going ....trying not to procrastinate.

I have my 3rd wash load on, have done one stint of ironing (only 7 items though, so not brilliant!) and have got as far as taking the christmas cards down. However, I have been up since 6am .....

Well off to do the washing up, polish the sitting room, and iron my DH golf trousers.

Good Luck to everyone else. :T to Moggins for helping us get our homes into order.

    Moggins, I love you!
Even though I didn't drag myself out of bed until 9.30, all of the decs are down and put away, tree is sorted, cards done and put out for recycling, three loads of washing done and out on line, living room totally cleaned and vacuumed. Kitchen cleared and sink shined (floor still needs washing, but hey!). Haven't done the filing or 27 fling boogie yet, and I'm partying at a friend's this afternoon so realistically they might not not happen but I'm still really pleased with what has been achieved so far.:j

Well, I've cleaned all my kitchen cupboards. OK, I know that's not on the list, but my living area is clean and tidy and the decs are all gone.

    I shined my sink

    Haven't done the 27 fling thing - why 27  ?

SHINE THAT SINK - To do after lunch

27 fling boogie (for all just joining that means grab a rubbish bag and run around until you have found 27 items that need to go in the bin.)

Remove christmas decs and store away carefully for next year. DONE
Put all christmas cards safely to one side. DONE

Tidy, dust and hoover main living area - Just tidying could take rest of day

Spend 30 mins filing paperwork. 30 MINUTES ONLY! I don't want anyone getting bogged down in paperwork and forgetting everything else. Remember babysteps.

Go through christmas cards making lists of who sent them. If new contact details or phone numbers are included on these cards then transfer details immediately to address book. DONE (Slight cheat - I try to do this as cards arrive)

Hit one hotspot! - Explanation please Moggins
