very very proud of myself as i went to the gym last night. me, in a gym!

Tried to post last night and couldn't but I had left my list of chores on the table to remind me when i got home from work. DH came to pick me up and casually said "i did all the things on your list today". :j :j
So a nice easy night for me last night. He's back at work today though so no help there.
Will do the tiles and shower in the bathroom as the rest of it is fine, I might try to do a cupboard in the kitchen as well and carrying on with my bedroom hot spots - its gradually becoming a boudoir instead of a junk room.

:j :j :j :j :j Lilaclillie Congratulations! How exciting!
(and if I can give a quick plug - the National Childbirth Trust, nct for short, were great for me when my three were tiny. They have local groups, postnatal support, breastfeeding counsellors and lots of online forums. Just in case it may prove helpful. My top tip is for new mum not to get dressed for at least the first week, preferably two. Then everyone looks after you, rather than expecting you to get them cups of tea etc!)
I was suffering withdrawal symptoms last night with the forum down...
I did most of yesterday's list, but finished off the floor this morning, as easier to do with everyone out.
I'm enjoying the challenge, and can see a difference already. I do just the list Moggins gives - quite enough for me, I'd rather be out in the garden! It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -

- Bathroom is 2.5m long by 1.4m wide. We actually have a minibath (you have to have your knees bent slightly to sit in it comfortably).
- Our kitchen is about 3m x 3m including units.
- Livingroom floor is about 28m-square with the furniture around the outside
- DD's bedroom is 2m x 3.5 and she has a big fitted wardrobe/cupboard in it and is a stickler for keeping a tidy bedroom
:j Like mother like daughter when it comes to being organised.
- Master bedroom is only 4m x 3m
- Hall is big enough to let the front door open and then your straight onto the stairs or in the livingroom and the landing is big enough to have 3 doorways and the top of the stairs on the 4th side and thats it :rotfl:
:rotfl::rotfl: Since DD goes to bed at 7pm there isn't much chance for the house to get messed up :rotfl:
Right, now I really need to get on with the next hour (well until Midday) of scanning & shredding. I'm hoping I'll be able to get rid of the filing cabinet. It's growing mould on the back of it and the papers are actually getting damp as well as they have that musty smell about them.
Later :wave:Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -
Congratulations Lilaclillie
Nicki I use my old filing cabinet as storage in the shed! It works brilliantly and keeps all the power tools in one place and dry. I also keep all my gardening stuff in the top drawer so I have my kneelers, gloves and gardening boots all in one place for when I want them. All car stuff, like de-icer, polish, spare fuses, extra fanbelt etc are all stored in the bottom one. It was the ideal use for a cabinet that wasn't needed in the house any more and was also too tatty. It did have a handle missing but I made another one with some plaited string.Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

Back again
Am pleased so far.
Have done
Cleaned bathrooms
Hoovered main areas of house
Washed kitchen floor
Washed kitchen mats
Am now in office doing paperwork for 1 hour and will also include in that 15min hotspot which is also in my office.
Then ironing after which hopefully I will be able to attempt to sort my kitchen drawer - it is scary in there0 -
Me again
So far have done 1 load washing and td, cleaned bathrooms, mirrors, shower, toilet etc. Have washed bathroom towels and put new out, and have bath mats in wm now. Now sorting medicines, and have ordered new c type battery for ear thermometer, which ran flat ages ago but I never got round to buying a new one. So just rest of medicines to do.Always on the hunt for a bargain0 -
Afternoon all,
I was very bad yesterday and didn't manage to do the kitchen, but I did do some washing (and lots of MSE reading). I'm so annoyed with myself  - someone slap me on the wrist.
Today..
- Catch up with ironing
- Wash skiing jacket
- Something with sausages in slow cooker for dinner - any ideas?
- Kitchen tidy and clean
- Clean shower screen in bathroom.
Definate update later, have a good day everyone.
