Only rich in love and washing.. sadly not sleep, money or space! so here I am! lol We cleaned the whole upstairs at the weekend.. read back a few pages it was a saga! I ended up with 5 binbags of washing from 1 room and probably about 25 loads of washing in total.. plus the usual daily 2 loads. I have got it down to 2 baskets now.
Dailies.. I have the washing machine, tumble dryer, dishwasher, breadmaker, fold and put away all the clean stuff.
I usually give myself 3-4 'tasks' to get done, if they don't get done, I will roll them over until the next day.. vacuuming the stairs rolled over for 3 weeks once! lol
nightlies, I include feeding & watering the cats & rabbits, forcing DH to clear the table ready for breakfast, load tumble dryers and washing machines and dishwasher again.. this way I get at least 4 loads done each day! prepare clothes for the next day.. some add pack ups here too.. mine stay hot dinners. write list for the next day.
I try to ignore Moggins tasks but she is too loud and blue to ignore usually.
Anyway.. best go twinkle the bath before she checks up on me!! lol
Welcome!!! (froggot to add that to my last post)
ETA.. I have those syndromes too.. and the 'eventually syndrome' where you know you will do it.. eventually! And the 'yeah whatever' syndrome.. I get flare ups of this from time to time.. I fall off the wagon, get stuck on the wheel and roll around for a few days until I unstick and climb myself back on board, usually covered in poop again!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

http://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/showthread.html?t=338109&page=64 post 1263 are MY daily 30s. Everyone else has own daily list, just saves me typing it all out over and over if I put that.
Kitchen not done, well some is but not all of it, Tuesday is DP and DS RC night usually so he spends the afternoon in the kitchen sorting RC cars out for the evening, can't get in for him, so I did the bathroom this afternoon. Had to go out this morning for pets stuff, new car battery and DPs Grandmas as it's her birthday. One day I might be more organised...........

My DH regularly hides the mop and bucket so I normally use 2 microfibre cloths tied to the soles of my shoes and skate around the kitchen to clean the floor!I like cooking with wine......sometimes I even put it in the food!0 -
Well I found this thread this morning all 77 pages as it was then of it! Figured if I sat and read it all it would be next Christmas and our house would still be the s**t tip it has become over the last few months.
My DH died last year in an accident and to be totally honest I had the 'why bother' approach to everything apart from looking after our children. We were never the tidiest of people but had made a joint decision inly about a month/6 weeks before he died to sort this place out and we were starting to make inroads into it.
So to cut a very long story short I saw this and thought it might just give me the motivation I need. Feeling slightly overwhelmed by the prospect of getting going but also can see the potential results from other peoples posts.
So please wish me luck on my mission.Official Mascot and Chief Cheerleader for the 'Mortgage Free in Three' Gang0 -
Had another good day today, managed to keep my paperwork upstraight, ive cleaned the bathroom, toilets, kitchen (including the cupboard fronts and oven), a load has just finished in the WM (to save doing it in the morning) so all i need to do now is hang that up and make tomorrows lunches.
I didnt get to clean the kitchen floor, although i did hoover it, and i wipe any 'heavy duty' areas daily, so that will be added to my tomorrow list.
Right, better get those lunches made!!!0 -
Welcome, and good luck AnW'sMum - i started this challenge a few weeks ago and already im finding a huge difference in my cleaning routines - its easier and quicker!!!0
