thanks lil_me, I will register with the site; I feel a bit more organised having the schedules; it is not such a mountain to climb having the housework spread out across the week. Thanks for the advice about baby formula pigpen. My youngest has taken a liking to shaking his milk and spraying it all over the lounge (and I thought it would be easier after we had gone through all the weaning!!!) I cannot believe how much chaos and mess 2 toddlers can cause! They seem to move from room to room with me running behind them cleaning it all up! I'll remind them of this one day! :rotfl: x

  • Hi, all! Apparently today is the biggest day of the year for depression – that’ll explain why I’ve been down over the weekend. Had 2 very long sleeps (12 hours each) so feel energised today. Planning to put that to good use!

    Freecycle item – collected
    Wash school uniform – done
    Washing – drying on creel
Post card to cousin – done
Lay out veg sets – done

I’m in the bathrooms today. Cleaned the bath, and pulled a huge hair monster from the plug. That’ll be DD – she’s the only one with long hair. DD got a lot of *smellies* for Christmas. She’s arranged them all on the windowsill. I’ve put them on one side – she can select one bubbles, one shampoo and one conditioner out at a time – she can choose, and put the rest away for later.

    Bathroom:
Clean bath – done; taps shined with stardrops
    Clean window – done
Windowsill – bottles sorted and windowsill wiped
Clean floor – DH has swept it, I need to get down and wash it
    Dado rail – damp dusted
    Sink and tiles - cleaned
Loos – cleaner in them, to scrub later

I have lentils and split peas cooking in the Rayburn. Now need to prepare some veg for the veggie shepherd’s pie. After that, will be back to the loos.

See you all later, Penny. x

Morning gorgeous Flybabes types with your sparkly clean houses

Sorry I've not been around lately but this pregnancy lark is really taking its toll. Still feeling really tired and lethargic and getting a little depressed. Hopefully the drs promise of an early scan might help me sleep better and find some energy to clean my house again :o Couldn't even eat DH's lovely roast beef yesterday as couldn't handle the smell :(

Anyway, trying to get through it. DH has realised I'm not faking and starting to pull a bit more weight around the house.

I've fought my way through the ironing pile from hell and almost finished. Tidied DS's room and stripped bed (not done since Xmas :o ) I'll follow Moggins' mission for today and see how far I get before collapsing.

Pigpen - as ever you rock! Thanks for putting a smile on my face.

Nicki - sorry I missed your birthday hope you had a good one.

    Love to all

Punky.. good news DH is doing a little more.. such a shame you couldn't eat the dinner he cooked though, I'd have been gutted too, nothing like a nice roast someone else cooked! I am still most jealous though, I really want another small creature.. to make mess faster than I can tidy it lol. It'll soon pass.

Whew! That's that for the day. All apart from spending 30 minutes in DD's room in case the planning inspectorate wants to go up there re the privacy issues. Par for the course, I spend a day cleaning it, she spends all weekend trashing it!

This week I have a plan :D 50% of her toys are going into storage boxes in our room, once a month I will change them over :D

    Hi Tracy

Moggins lists each evening (usually between 9 and 10pm) the list for the following day. I should sit down today and think about what you need to do everyday and draw up a list called dailies, i.e. put wash on, put BM on, anything that you need to do. Then Moggins will give you tasks of the day.

I should not worry about the state of the house now because by the end of the week if you stick to Moggins lists it will be sorted (or pretty much). But dont beat yourself up if you fall behind because the rooms are done on a rota basis and although the first time round may be very hard work as the weeks go on it gets easier because you are on top of things. If you scroll back moggins daily list is usually in big blue text so it stands out.

Good luck and remember go at your own pace, its not a race and we are all here to support and kick you b*m if you need it.
