Hi gang. Having good day so far. Actually managed to get up when the alarm went off. Hubby was surprised to see me have shower AND get dressed before he went to work!
I spent some time yesterday making up different A4 charts so I could print them off.
Have got one each of -
Daily Tasks - covers all 7 days and includes nighttime routine
Monthly Calendar (so I can organise one HUGE task each month)
Blank Shopping List - added to on daily basis
Detailed tick sheet for each room listing ALL chores
And one page called 'MOGGINS LIST' in case she throws me a curve ball and suggests something I havent thought of. (you know you will!)
So with the help of my new charts, here's my list for today:-
[STRIKE]Get up with alarm[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Make bed[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Shower[/STRIKE]Dress to shoes
[STRIKE]Fill washing machine[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Check/feed brids[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]30 minutes paperwork [/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]27 fling boogie[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Tackle one hotspot[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Put any dry clothes away (I dry them on the hangers, so NO IRONING!)[/STRIKE]Put clothes out to dry
[STRIKE]Hoover right through[/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]General tidy up of rooms [/STRIKE]
[STRIKE]Enjoy rest of day (doing that now) until...[/STRIKE]
Nighttime routine

I know how you feel!! Went to pub with Hubby, kept thinking how best to organise hallway cupboard!!! One large box and one small box?? Or two large boxes??? Decisions decisions! PLEASE tell me there's a doctor in the house. Or at least a head shrinker???? HELP
I know exactly how you feel, I have never been able to relax very well. Can't sit still to watch a movie or anything, am a total fidget!! Only way I can relax is playing board games with hubby, one time I actually chill out!!Sorting my life out to give a better life to my:heartsmil 2 gorgeous boys :heartsmil0 -
Evening everyone, hope everyones had a good day, done quite a lot but not as much as expected today. Dailies done apart from my plate to wash & LR floor to do again (darn dogs!) but decided to get the shopping over and done with as loads of appointments next week, had to take the boys with me again, 2 hours, suppose that is better than last weeks 3.
Just sitting down for the first time today to actually eat something, I've had half a up of coffee all day and forgot breakfast/lunch for me. Last load of washing to catch up on is in now, just got to find somewhere to get it dry....
Have done some more of the boys rooms, think tomorrow will concentrate getting one finished then start the other.. Need to get my backside in gear as next weekend will be a long one, kids are off Thursday and Friday for teacher training! Pleased I make mine a weekend list as rarely yet it finished on SaturdayOne day I might be more organised...........

Hiya
Not done much today as working all day. My mum is babysitting and usually I run round like an idiot tidying up so she doesn't see what a mess the place is. Today I don't have to coz it's still tidy, yeahhhhhh!!!!!
I'm just going to do a 27 boogie fling thing and am feeling very happy as the house is tidy, the cat is fine and we've won first prize in a raffle. Tonight I am going to relax and have a nice night off.
Have a good rest of Saturday everyone and i'll get back working again tomorrow but tonight i'll take Moggin's advice and not feel guilty!January budget
Nothing left!0 -
Not a good day today, flylady wise. Managed to strip my bed, wash and get it all hung up, the DW is emptied and i think thats all ive done!!!! Mind you, we didnt get home until 3pm, and then i had to input my mystery shop results and do my paid2clicks, so im using that as an excuse!!!!
Never mind, will hopefully do the bedrooms tomorrow.0 -
Moggins. Anything for tomorrow, or have we got a day off?? If so, can you give us a hint for Monday?? Want to get a head start.
P.S. THANKYOU for this thread. Youre wonderful.!!!!!working hard at this thing called life0 -
Sundays sleep in
Lol you lot are eager. If you have kept up all week then you should have all rooms cleaned and be all ready for Monday. So today can be (if you wish) a complete day of rest apart from dailies and nighttime routines.
If you really want something to do then I challenge you to find the worst cupboard in the house (that one you dread opening because it all falls out when you open the door) and sort it.
Remember girls this is not supposed to be a never ending round of housework but a way of keeping on top of things so you have more time for yourselves and the things you want to do.
p.s. if anyone has bits of the house that I haven't mentioned can you jot them here on the board and I will compile a list of other bits to include.Organised people are just too lazy to look for things

Thanks for the day off moggins, can use it to catch up on those bedrooms!!!!0

Just going through my weekly list. Door frames and doors is one I havent's seen on the lists, and light switches/plug sockets, they do get grimey, but need to be cleaned carefully (not wet of course)! Somewhere my evil in laws would no doubt inspect if they visited. Skirting boards maybe another. Curtain wash also on my weekly list (usually do one set a week sometimes more in summer) Car cleaning but may not be relevant to some and isn't in the house really. Disinfecting all house bins (I do on bin day) Windows cleaning ( I do upstairs one day, downstairs on Monday) Garden another which unsure if should be included. Think the rest of my weeklys have been somewhere on a list at some point, apart from animal care ones.
Wohooo soup I made with left over veg etc is actually edible and nice, very pleased with myself, it's my first proper homemade soup!
I've got a lot to catch up with, but Sunday is DP sleep in day until lunch time so will try to get it all done on the morning. Going to get some done tonight after the kids go to sleep, dogs trying my patience again!
(Monday is sitting room usually isn't it)One day I might be more organised...........
