Moggins list
Todays mission is to get ready for Monday. Uniforms washed and ironed, clothes ready for work, at least two meals ready cooked and in the freezer.
Have HM Burgers and Nuggets in Freezer (made today), Leek and Chicken Pie and Lasagnas. Only one little at nursery so no uniforms to do. DHs got 2 shirts that need ironing for next week.
Hoover the hall, stairs and landing - will be done first thing along with bedrooms (did stairs yesterday)
Night time routines, make sure that living room is neat and tidy to come down to on Sunday morning.
Dailies
Put wash on
Hoover EVERYWHERE!!!!
Dust EVERYWHERE!!!!
Do bathrooms and loos
Polish mirrors
Shine the sinks
Fluff pillows
Can you guess we have viewers? Not as bad as it seems as all rooms straight just "refreshing and staging" to do, well as much as you can with a 2 and 4 year old trashing the place behind you:rolleyes: .
After viewing tackle 2nd shed (DH task really)
Change hamster cage
Depending on weather clean outside windows
Put weed killer down.
That will do for now, best go put the BM on for toast in the morning.
Well done everyone :T0 -
mumoftwo I am with you after two days of hard slog I am knackered, although very happy and proud of what I have achieved.:j
I made my list last night and I have made sure that I stuck to it today;
DW, WM x3, bathroom clean, hoover living room/dining room, clear kitchen surfaces and wipe down. Others which I have added and done during the day - swepted kitchen floor, gathered all plastic bottles and cans and took to the recycling, sorted out this weeks mail and either filed it or binned it, went round garden tidying up after the dog and then took him for a walk before the rain came.
Moggins - uniforms are all washed and drying at the moment, I didn't tackle the kids bedrooms as we are in the middle of reflooring their playroom and everything from there has gone into their bedrooms but I did tackle their toys etc with black bags and have 5 to go to various places tomorrow. My hotspot was the kitchen surfaces - far too much gets put down and not removed - all clear and sparkling.
The sink is steeping at the moment but will shortly be finished and then I am going to sit down with a large glass of wine and put together list for tomorrow to see what rooms / tasks I can catch up with, I am also going to make a dailies list - many thanks lil-me for your earlier post listing yours I am hoping to have something similar but don't think I will manage as many - not for a newbie anyway.
Many thanks to all for posting, for someone who has spent last year in a muddle and not achieved very much in the house and who wants to change during this year it is very helpful to read your comments and stories.

Pigpen - you've done incredibly well today, you must be shattered! For a long time it can feel like a losing battle, but even if you fall off the wagon from time to time, as long as you get back on a soon as you can you will finally start to see that everything starts to get easier.
I second (or is it fourth?) the idea that you should shove everything in your sons room into binliners and only give them back a bag at a time.
When I did something similar with my boys (12 and 8) I sat on the bed with a cuppa while they put things away so I could be sure they were put away, not just shoved under the bed. With my older boy (now 16) I allowed him to put it away under his own steam - but then he is very good and can be trusted.
I almost wish I'd stayed at home and 'fly'ed today, I'm so tired! I spent the entire day wandering around Cardiff and my feet were so sore. I did however get my compost caddy from Lakeland, so pleased with that. (It's Pen pen's fault that I'm a compost convert)
Shirts are in the wash, but can't do the trousers until Sunday cause I've hardly any darks to wash, lol. By Sunday there'll be loads as it's mostly darks they wear on weekends, so would be a waste to wash now.
I did manage to declutter an entire cupboard last night before bed - as a result the top half is now empty!!!
I need to crack on with some FLYing myself over the weekend, so I'd best get an early night tonight.
Love and hugs to all,

I didn't do many when I was a newbie. That has built up over time. try that site I posted https://www.chartjungle.com for the tasks lists you can edit, saves stacks of paper if you have a laminater too
I am really impressed with how the newbies are doing, after my day one I collapsed in a heap and restarted on day 3 after regretting not doing it! Pigpen, you're my inspiration, how you can do so much with 8 children I will never know.
Forecasts for more high winds here tomorrow, and rain so apart from the party and the dogs I will be going nowhere!
Flis never fear I am 28 and have just done the same, you're not the only one
Dogs are determined to annoy me, bringing in toys they dumped in the garden which were soggy! All in the washing machine now as they stink! Jumping on the sofas as soon as I turn my back (dogs & cream leather do not go well especially in this weather) They have then brought sticks in (inc ones I think are half a tree puppy couldn't get one of them through the door) while I was upstairs shredded one into bits grrr! I have left the doors open to air the place out as DS1 hates doors and windows open when he's home so it's my last chance until tomorrow night (sat here in my coat)
We haven't got a Lakeland near me Kaz but someone said you can order online, might have a nosey! I put the composting stuff in the 'green' bin the council provide and take away but am looking to start to grow my own veg etc this year so that might come in handy. One day I might be more organised...........
GC: £200
Slinkies target 2018 - another 70lb off (half way to what the NHS says) so far 25lb0 -
I confess I didn't do any more after lunch, but am very pleased with haircut!
Wow, hasn't everyone been working hard this week?:D
I'm really glad that I did so much over the past few weeks (compared to how little I did before that!).
I had very little time or energy this week, but the house really doesn't look that bad.
The children can do their own rooms tomorrow, and I will do a bit more in my room. Sunday afternoon someone is coming to pick up a huge pile of gardening magazines, so a space will appear!
Have a good weekend! It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -
Managed today's list with help from hubby. Tomorrow's list good coz i work all day Saturday. Also caught up with study today so going to stay caught up. Bit worried about our cat who's diabetic so was going to have an early night but staying up for a while to keep an eye on him. He was very sick earlier and that can play havoc with his insulin. Why do I love him so much and why are all our pets unhealthy? Bless him!
Have a fun weekend xxJanuary budget
