Bedroom is done, need to hoover under the bed but I'll do that Sunday (birthday or not I'll do it :p ) Cleared a bag of stuff for the bin and some more stuff for ebay.... way more than 27 things :rotfl: Also attacked DD's hair bobbles etc while I was at it but she doesn't know yet :shhh::silenced::naughty:

OH has left work early and I'm going to go and wash dishes while worrying about him travelling home on the M57/58/62 where there are LOTS of trees and warehouse style buildings nearby not to mention very wide open spaces where the cross winds will be a nightmare :eek: I phoned him to see if he was leaving early or not and he informed me that where he is (junction of M588 & M6 ) they had tree's, lampposts and slates from a neighbouring old folks home blowing about  Apparently the staff at his school had to go out and move their cars due to the chance of the stuff hitting them

I'm thinking I'm just going to let the finances rest for tonight...I'll just be glad to have him home in one piece!!

Now...what to have for tea?:wave:

Well i've done a very basic version of the list today. We have two big branches blown off a tree in our garden and I was trying to rescue the dog who was having a sniff round when the second branch hit me. I'm fine, just bruised (and our dog is fine thank goodness) but it's not half shaken me. So, no college tonight (half an hour way with lots of trees along the road and i'm too scared!) will just study and stay warm instead.

If it's windy where you are don't go out unless you have to xx

Well I've got a lot done, but I am shattered, got DP to help move furniture round in DS2s room (biggest room in the house) so they can get to the football table etc easier, and I can get into the wardrobes easier, and managed to create more 'play space' aswell. Dusted every part of the room, took down the curtains for washing and cleaned the window. Unfortunately there is a lot of clothes in the wardrobe which need rewashing, talc had been spilt in the bottom, so I now have 4 baskets of washing to do! Unearthed some toys from top of wardrobe he haddn't played with for ages, so guess what's now all over the floor  I give up. Must remember to put my bed linen on, hate remembering just before I get into bed! Kids swimming has been cancelled again because the pool is broken so they aren't happy little bunnies at all. Neither am I, had just sorted all the clothes and towels out when I got the message!

LJD1 pleased to hear you aren't too badly hurt, that's quite scary

Hope everyone travelling gets there safely, windy wet and wild here. DP is at work tonight and I will be constantly worried tonight as his taxi is higher than it is wide. Got some things left to do which will hopefully keep me busy & my mind off it a bit. He's been told to ring me as often as possible and if he's going anywhere very far ring me so I know where he is ( his boss has just turned down a run to Edinburgh because he had to drop the taxi off, as the trains have been cancelled) He's got my Jeep to get to and from work, and took the towing kit with him just incase as lots of trees been falling into the back lanes to where we live.

Right well best crack on, hope everyone is well, I've got lizard poop to clean up (smelliest thing in the world ever!) then the rest of my jobs to do. Doing washing in this weather is a bad idea, got 3 loads waiting to be dried when the others are finished on the airers.
One day I might be more organised...........

OH made it home safe but worn out after a hectic day at work :D:j

We ended up having quiche lorraine (orange sticker from Co-op) and spiced-roast butternutsquash for tea.

Going to have a nice quiet evening watching rubbish TV...Anthea is on but I don't know whether it is a repeat or not  OR I might spend the night playing on Second Life ;)

Well despite good intentions I've done [STRIKE]nothing[/STRIKE]little. Have to get a move on tonight:o . DD came downstairs telling me they'd tidied DS room. I did it on Sat only for it to be trashed Sunday:mad: so I refused to do it again. Went up there, convinced they'd made a worse mess and were winding me up and  they had tidied it :T

DH not in yet, FIL rang to ask for him at home at 4.30, he doesn't finish till 5pm and works 3/4 hour away  . Then he rang again to tell him about shut roads and then again to ask if he was home and that he'd told him not to go on road DH had got stuck on, the other roads are shut so not sure how he expected him to get home

Think that will do for today, it is lovely to have got to this point in the week and my living room still looks like I could have people over. Usually as the week progresses the living room gets more untidy until I have to spend an hour tidying it on a Saturday!!

    Have a good day everyone.

Evening all, have had my dinner so on with the tasks for this evening. Will start in the kitchen and see how much I can get done before hubby gets home at 8.30 pm.
