I really find this post really unusual.
If the boyfriend is 17 yrs old and a full time college student and has no income doesn't that mean that someone is claiming CB and CTC for him somewhere? Or am I totally wrong?0 -
A strange mixture of posts that have been deleted and others that have been left; no logic in it whatsoever!0

So the op has three kids living with her, who are not hers, but an ex partner's, and a 17 year old student as a boyfriend?? Hmmm, why not move in the bf, claim CB and CTC for him, and CSA off the ex for his kids who live with her. Job's a good 'un

Oh!, I was under the impression that the kids were hers also and that she split up with the father because he had an affair, therefore getting rid of some of the blame as to why she is a single parent of three claiming IS, CTC, HB and CTB. If this is the case and the OP is not a troll then we should be encouraging her to find work and childcare for her kids, aside from her 17 year old boyfriend.
The OP has not been back which makes me not want to take this thread seriously!!! :mad:I'm not a "SINGLE" mum, I'm a "DOUBLE" mum!:D0 -

no it wouldnt. No government would do it because at the end of the day they want to be voted in. Crime would rise if benefits stopped would you like something of yours to be stolen because someone didnt have any money to feed themselves or their family???:footie:0 -

I remember the other thread about what would happen if benefits would stop. I like the first reaction of people to be that everyone would turn to stealing before actually looking to earn money.Per Mare Per Terram0 -

not everyone would be able to earn money. Jobs would not appear out of thin air so yes there would be more crime. People need money to live on. It would be much worse than it is now. We dont usually go backwards in life.:footie:0 -

You do realise it isn't happening, right?
I've no doubt there would be a huge increase in crime, but give people some credit.Per Mare Per Terram0
