Hi NualaBuala
I was on the knitting forum a few days ago and had seen your post regarding the jumper. I thought the jumper was lovely too. Great programme wasn't it? I just loved a Thursday night when I knew it was coming on. I do hope you are able to get it sorted soon. Happy knitting:) Have really enjoyed reading everyones posts. Had a lot of reading to get through:) Warmest wishes to you all. Wonderful forum and so friendly. I love it.

According to the Daily Wail, a basket of essentials from Mr Ts is now MORE expensive than before their price cuts.
Well..we didn't see that one coming, did we?
They're also lagging behind Messrs A and S in the pricing stakes.
Amazing news :eek:Normal people worry me.0 -
Re. Council Tax benefit - I was on JSA for a few weeks between agency jobs a couple of years ago, and there was no problem with the Council Tax being stopped... the problem was that the jobcentre told me they'd automatically inform the Council that JSA was no longer being claimed, but that message didn't seem to get through and council tax wasn't taken for a few months - being a bit dim I didn't notice that until they slapped me with a £300 bill payable all at once before Christmas to "catch up"!I believe in the freedom of spinach and the right to arm bears.

Sounds like a bad day on here for a few people. I hope everything works out for you all. Becky, I am sure you will find something soon and well done on dealing with everything immeadiately - so often people cruise along and don't get things in place which never works. You seem a very positive person and getting all those jobs done will help you feel better. /QUOTE]
thanks Ginnyknit, feeling better already. This afternoon I took the bus into town (currently have a bus pass) and went for a capuccino in the park reading a newspaper. Cannot remember when I did that last time! Felt really luxorious. I felt great to have some time to chill. Then went to A*da and picked up some bargains.
Many thanks to you all for being such a friendly and supportive thread. No toiletries challenge, started 18/1/2010 - Putting £1 in my savings jar for every item that I use up. Pot 1 to 4 = £261. Pot 5=£23

, but she lives on my street, I see her nearly every day and have never heard of any problems before this happened. So all I had to go on was the information she gave me, and I had no reason to question it. Now I know better and it won't happen again. It's in my nature to help if I can and I don't want that to change. It's one of my good points and goodness knows I need something to balance out the bad ones. I'm being friendly until I get my money back and then will cut her off.
Thank you kittie
My MIL was telling me yesterday that the priest at her local church was burgled recently. Apparently a man came in and whilst the priest was hearing his confession, his accomplice entered the priests house located at the back of the church and took money. The following week a lady went up to take holy communion and when she returned to her seat/pew her handbag had gone.
Now I am not religious but there just seems to be something so wrong in stealing in/from a church.0
