I signed up yesterday morning but didn't get an email confirmation. It said someone would contact me within 72 hours to confirm an installation date but should I have received an order confirmation straight away?0

i called them up today to see what was happening about the order i placed online on tuesday morning. they didn't have a record of it so i had to go through it all again on the phone which means i won't get the quidco cashback:(
also the earliest install date they had for london was friday 19th january
so if you placed an order online & didn't get immediete email confirmation then call them up as your order probably didn't get through as the guy said you should get immediete confirmation0 -

Anyone succesfully received any e mail from NTL after ordering online? I ordered yesterday and haven't received any confirmation e mail so far. I have rung NTL 3 times and no one seems to know whether my order has gone through. Don't want to lose Quidco money. They say it takes 3-7 days to come up on their system ! Not impressed, after being on the phone for over 30 minutes each time. Anyone can share their experiences?
thanks0 -
i think they must have serious issues with online ordering as the guy on the phone said if you don't get immediate email confirmation then that means your order didn't register

Surprise ! I had a call from NTL Engineer today for installation date - 22nd of this month. Hope he turns up. It seems you don't need to get a confirmation e mail!0 -
Where do they say you can have all 3 for £21/month ??roses wrote:If you want all three packages, this works out at £21 per month for broadband, telephone & basic tv!

Offer available until 31st January
Does this include Free TV Pack ??
I cannot see any info that says you can have Free TV Pack when you take Broadband.
NTL/Telewest are doing 3 for £30 deal.

If you order online through Telewest website you can order 3 for £21/month
(Free TV, 2Mb Broadband, Talk Weekends).
If you order online through NTL website you cannot order Free TV with Broadband, as far as I can see.
Maybe you can do it over the phone, maybe not.
The lowest tv pack NTL used to have was the Base Pack at £11.50/month.
They have now added 2 lower TV packs (Free TV Pack, Select TV Pack -£5.50/month), probably due to the NTL/Telewest merger.
I think NTL don't want to give Free TV with Broadband & will push you onto their 3 for £30/month offer (Select TV Pack, 2Mb Broadband, Talk Weekends), so you are paying for TV (although you get few more channels with Select Pack)

NTL/Telewest don't give free tv with broadband. They give free tv with a phone line. If you add all 3 products individually to your basket then checkout, it comes up as £25. However after you place your online order, give them a call to say it should be £21 as it is £10 broadband & £11 phone line with free tv & there is a price mistake on the website.0

Can't do same on NTL website & get a quote of Free TV with Broadband.
But as NTL/Telewest have merged & NTL have just sent out leaflet merging the different companies packages, I think you should be able to phone NTL & ask for this 3 for £21 deal.
