Greenbee.. I'll send you some mules to throw at that man! I hope he surprises you on Friday.. and all goes well today!
he won't surprise me as he doesn't know when I'm going in or where. I badly want to talk to him now, as lovely as my brother is and however handy it is having a doctor along to the appointment, the emotional support is not the same. However, I think calling him would be counter-productive as he needs to understand that he is either in my life and involved or not. He's stubborn though, so i suspect I won't see him again unless it's for work.

All went ok... Didn't really find out anything more... The consultant isn't a huge fan of going in to all the things it might be, so I have to wait and see what he finds. MRI tomorrow afternoon. Then I have to be in at 7.30 on Friday morning!

LW - definitely write a list for your appointments and give a copy to Mr LW to take with you. If you don't feel up to having some of these conversations tell them you've asked Mr LW to speak on your behalf and I'm sure he's aware about how you will feel a out their suggestions.

Should do some work but CBA so might sit outside for a bit and enjoy the sunshine.

Hi piggers I will try to remember on sunday too! I am struggling a bit with my mobility and pain just now but nothing like the problems some people are dealing with just now so will not be boring anyone with my moans:DI am enjoying the good weather and trying to make the most of it as I am sure it is short-lived - I am trying very hard to not let my fears, my illnesses or what other people think get in the way of doing things I enjoy.

hope the decorating goes to plan this week. xxx

well done to all the new flyers - you are doing a great job at putting us regulars to shame:D

I know the feeling!! I am running on painkillers which I hate doing but needs must! Your problems are just as valid as anyone elses so if you need to offload. do!!

Decorating is so far on track

Need to get dinner in and then whizz another coat of gold on the door frames and the radiator... I should then be able to get another coat on before the girls go to bed... Decorator here in the morning to do the papering so I need to have me and the girls up and dressed before 8am!!!!!!!! S*** the bed or what?! I may stay in bed and kick OH out lol

Huge hugs to greenbee (fwiw, I think you are right), boddy, LW and anyone else who could do with a bunch!

I struggled to get going this moring and dropped DS2 off a bit late for the breakfast club (he prefers seeing his friends there to a later start and me taking him to his classroom :().

Went straight to school, checked e-mails, made a call to a solicitor and started decluttering. I spent 2 hours clearing stuff left by a colleague who won't be back (she was part-time in my department) and the rest of the time in my own room. Some areas are now clear and I've flung lots! :D The caretaker [STRIKE]threw me out[/STRIKE] politely asked how long I intended to stay, so I left just before 3pm. Went home to check messages and picked DS2 up.

We've chilled for a bit and now I'll get on with tea and the laundry. On the agenda for tonight are: paperwork, some time in the room of the day (best check which one it is) and my book. :D

    This holiday thing is great!

  • Oooopsssss....

Went to get my eyebrows threaded at 2pm.

By 3pm, I was being pummeled by a fancy massage chair whilst having a pedicure for the first time. I swear my feet have halved in size!

By 4pm, I was having a cut and blowdry (I decided against having colours put in because I really must practice for tonight's show. Maybe next week - plus a manicure).

I am now significantly poorer than I was this morning, but I feel really good :)

So much for moneysaving - I'm going to have to budget for that every month now!

Rescued base sheet from amongst the potatoes when I got back in. Replaced on washing line.

Next wash has finished in machine, but don't have anywhere to put it at present.

Have time for a cup of tea, print my lead sheets out and then I must be off out again!
I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.

As you know I struggle with my physical health and BD is often snapping at my heals too. Im glad Ted is coming to stay as he will surely chase that naughty dog away. I practice Mindfulness techniques and they are helping me.
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.
