also got Mr LW to put a load of ant powder down, as the little beggars are trying to get in the house *shudders*
We've had some in the house AND (not connected) when I picked up our little black cat she was covered in them, and then so was I! She must have been lieing on the patio in a trail of them.
'everything go smoothly' vibes Triker.
I could do with a pampering evening, but I 've eaten too much to bend to do my toes
Right I really am off to do something constructiveYesterday is history

Best of luck to your DD Triker. She's lucky having you staying in with her. She (and you) will want to wash the hospital smell off when you get home...
LW - seafarer's wife has a good point. How about a dragon(I believe lil_me has one...)
Toots - hope it's all going ok. You know how much your positivity inspires us. My current situation has brought home to me how hard life is for some of you and only increases my admiration for how you cope.
Jojo - when I'm up and about again I'll have to drop on on one of your performances... Froddy might be interested too
OH is probably coming over tomorrow (don't all hold your breath though, I'd hate to be responsible for a mass-extinction of flyladies) and trying to sort himself out to stay on Thursday night so he can drop me and my mother off at 7.30am on Friday. My mother can then head off to the station and get a train to see my SIL once I get fed up with her and OH can pick her up from the station and me from the hospital when I'm let out. Or if I'm kept in, my mother can stay with my DB and SIL so I won't have to worry about her,
Supper next. Then a bit more work, then some more housework0 -
My toes are desperate to be done.. but I need to remove the polish and that will wreck my nails so I'll do them on Thursday evening after spending the day emulsioning
Glossing all done bar one more coat on the cupboard door.. it didn't dry quick enough so I'll get that done quickly while dinner cooks tomorrow evening.
The fire surround looks excellent... I need to get some more pics before the paper goes on tomorrow. The radiator looks like the tackiest thing in the world.. I love it!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Greenbee - huge hugs for you. So much for you to cope with atm, ish I could help
Lamewolf - and hugs for you
Molly - good post, nice to see you out of lurkdom!
I have mostly skimmed so apologies for those I have missed.
I have done the DW, fed the animals, and packed stuff up for the boys for tomorrow. Ready for bed now. Must check wedding cert on the way, I think it is our anniversary any day - both of us (luckily) are useless at dates.

Sending your DD 'smooth hospital stay' and healing vibes, triker.
Laundry is finally a WIP and I've done a bit in the kitchen. The freezer must have started to defrost at some point while I was away. OH said that he had to mop up water, but didn't check what the problem was. I now don't know what's safe to eat and what isn't!
Having a late tea and then I'll chill with my book. May take up the pampering theme and slap a face mask on.
Work again tomorrow after I drop DS2 off, but I'll stop at the market on the way for some fresh fruit and veg.0 -
Hello

Evening! Am I the only one still at school? Our hols don't start until Thursday.
LW - Huge ratty hugs - you are welcome to vent on here (after all, your posts usually contain much more flying than mine!!). I often read your posts in admiration of how you cope but you are allowed to feel down. Please do write everything down ready for when you have appointments and also speak to Mr LW - even if he doesn't understand the emotional side of things, he will still be able to pass your words onto the GP if you feel unable to. Oh, and i was also going to suggest the idea of getting a pet xx
greenbee - huge hugs for you too. I hope things work out for you and that the hospital stay is positive. I am around on Thurs and Fri and some of the weekend if you need anything xx
Toots - you are allowed to vent on here, hun. You always say how things can seem big to someone and not to others - if it's bothering you, then it bothers lots of us too. Hugs and prayers xx
Triker - thoughts and prayers for DD and you all xx
I have washed up and bunged a load in the WM. Now need to sort a pile of paperwork I brought home from work so it can be filed appropriately."There's only one way of life and that's your own" - Levellers

I'm sure you can loan LW one of your many furries... Or make some new ones for her...0 -
Right, bins are out for tomorrow.
Chickens in bed.
Cat fed the ham she 'stole' from my shopping bag.
Kitchen bin emptied.
I've rustled up a vegetable recipe, currently cooking in oven. DD2 packed up and organised, just me now but I need a shower tonight.
I've also chopped the front hedge that was starting to grow across the front doorway...it was bugging me and needed doing.
Other than that, I'm shocked and dismayed to discover that Peacocks size 18/20 PJ's are very.....erm snug fitting...:o:o:o:o:eek:.
Thanks for the thoughts ladies, sending them right back for all those who need 'em with a bit extra on top for good measure. xxxDFW Nerd 267. DEBT FREE 11.06.08
