    Hi all

Attempting "in" again this week; though probably won't do the entire list, as Ted will be arriving on Wednesday for four days. We'll see how we go.:o

(((HUGS))), posivibes, sticks and spoons as needed - special posivibes for boddy's DGS and best wishes and quick recovery vibes for Greenbee.

Decluttering thoughts - please feel free to skip this:

I've dug out a book a have from when I did an online course several years ago - "Self-management of Long-term Health Conditions". It's becoming increasingly obvious that I'm not coping as well as I should, particularly as I seem to trip over the BD every time I turn round. I thought maybe re-reading it will help me focus.

I've had people at the pub say things like "oh, you're always so cheerful, you never let it get you down" but really, it's a persona I project - well, you have to, don't you? Can't sit in the pub with a face like a wet Tuesday in Chalfont St Giles! But in reality, I'm crying inside, the whole time, and lately I've been having some bad, bad thoughts. That can't be allowed to continue.

Goodness knows why I'm putting all this down - I suppose, to get it clear in my own mind iyswim; but just going on how I have been isn't an option; and I don't have any close friends or family I can confide in.

Anyways, sorry for inserting a "me, me, me" post, if anyone objects to it, I can delete it later.:o
If your dog thinks you're the best, don't seek a second opinion.;)

LW - I'm constantly amazed by how well you DO cope. And its important that you have an outlet as coping is in itself hard work. I think sometimes we hope that if we project the persona then somehow, miraculously, we'll feel like that.

I'm decluttering thoughts too... OH has clearly had a bad weekend with his parents and is being very flaky. So I've had to tell him that I have enough to cope with at the moment and can't deal with this. Either he's here for me or he isn't and I can't keep going backwards and forwards at the moment and spending my time worrying about him. Yes, I need him. God knows I need someone to hold my hand in the appointments, hug when I'm feeling down and hold me at night when all those awful thoughts start wandering round my head, but if I can't rely on him being here for that, then its over, permanently forever. This is the time I need him most, and if he can't deliver now then the chances of anything else working out are slim. He was planning on turning up on Friday in time to take me to the hospital, but not to see me before that. I'd rather get a taxi. So on top of everything else, I now have this to deal with. Some tiny part of me is hoping that he'll see the light and turn up here before I leave for the hospital, or be here when I get back, but I'm fairly resigned to being disappointed. I'm just not sure I can deal with everything on my own.

LW - we're here for you to declutter your thoughts - and if anyone objects - which they won't - declutter them in a PM to me - that option's alway available anyway.
