Hi everyone! Things have been a bit manic recently, but other than that I'm good. Have yet to spend anything this week but I'm going out on Friday for dinner and "drinks". Since I'm on a diet at the moment, I won't be spending much on alcohol so will be very good this week on all fronts!

    Hi guys and girls

chris well done on last week's green!

jo-urney welcome to the thread! What did you see at the cinema, anything good?

meersy wow, your OH has a boat?! COOOOOOL!!! :D Also, AMAZING that you're debt free now, WELL DONE! :j

    sibles loving the payday shuffle!

ruby enjoy your night on Friday! If you normally drink white wine (like me) when I don't want to spend a lot etc, I have white wine and soda in a tall glass instead - lasts longer for same calories/money, also it's only a small glass of wine as opposed to the big one I would usually get!!! What do you drink?

Me so far this week (smoked a bit much, but v stressful - on the upside as of this morning I've fixed all our phones, yay!):

    24 Jul - Chickpeas + Cornettos - £1.58
    24 Jul - Cigs - £6.65
    24 Jul - Coffee with girls - £3.00
    25 Jul - Milk for work - £0.89
    26 Jul - Cigs - £6.65
    27 Jul - Cigs - £6.38

    Total so far: £25.15/£115

    Af'noon!

meersy Well done!! I'm determined to be in your position as soon as possible! You must be so happy :D

elsiepac I've told BF to bring his iPhone so I can post a pic!!

Went out last night for dinner with some friends. One of them has recently gotten engaged and he's asked me to sing at his wedding ceremony :j:j it's not until 2013 but I'm excited already!!!

Dinner and drinks came to £13.95. I've got to buy a travel card today, plus it's the works do, can I stay in budget???

My current work is coming to an end until September, but I've got an interview later with a stage company to be a teacher/chaperone at their summer school for three weeks in August - fingers crossed!!!

Excellent, look forward to seeing the pic ladymay!

I'm going for a NSD today - don't need anything and payday tomorrow so basically have coppers in my purse anyway! Not sure what I'm having for tea though... hmm!!!

Oh and this is my first month of my new salary (albeit reduced from what I was promised, but I'm not bitter at all....oh no.... ) and I wasn't sure what I would get - used salary calculators to try and work it out and got my payslip today, a day in advance, and it's £16 more than I thought, yay!! :j (£50 less than originally due to the grand they took back........ sorry, getting distracted....... grr!)

I'm off out on my work night out tomorrow, should be good. Boss paying for meal for us all, plus £10 drinks, so I'm only getting cigs, bottle of wine (getting ready at my friend's house first!), and then taxi. Taxi is going to be less as turned out my friend has a work night out in town too, her leaving do, so instead of me having to go home and get Taxi home for £40, I'm now going to hers after work to get ready, then meeting them later and sharing taxi, which will £25 ish between 3 of us as she's closer than me, and staying at hers! Yay!!! :j

So may not update until Saturday!

Have a great Friday all if I don't come on before the weekend!

    LC xx

    Have an AWESOME time elsiepac!

I had to get mushrooms yesterday on the way home and also picked up a card for my OH (he's been promoted!) so I have to add another £2.19 onto the grand total.

Got a driving lesson tonight, but that is budgeted for, so I haven't been counting it.
So will technically have an NSD today! Woohoo!

Total for the week is £6.43

    Hi all

Just had mini rant over on my thread at the cost of my trip to the cinema last night £45.20!!!. £25.20 on tickets for 3d Harry Potter & £20 at Burger King. My mum got stung for the sweets at £15. It was a 1 of treat for the boys as they are half brothers and they don't see each other very often. i usually take them swimming which is a lot cheaper. I just begrudge paying that amount of money.

Anyhow spends today £19.20, so grand total so far is £97.20/£100. So that leaves me £2.80 for today. Not going to happen as it's mine and OH treat night - Chinese/Pizza:D

Managed my NSD yesterday, apart from driving lesson, which would happen anyway.
    Good lesson too.

meersy the cinema does feel pretty extortionate now doesn't it?! I can't believe how much it seems to have gone up :( Have a great treat night!

it was harry potter - cinema was absolutely packed - weird for a tuesday evening after the movie had been released for about 10 days already i thought! one bonus was that the £6 i paid out in the cinema on drinks/sweets earned cashback from quidco (only about 60p, but i'm not complaining!)

was my birthday yesterday so got some birthday money, meaning i didn't spend anything from my weekly allocation really - but bought some trainers for my little boy which i will include in the amount!

so total spends this week are now at £24.49 / £50.00

(sorry if ive missed any other messages/questions etc - will try to catch up properly later!)
