    Evening budgeteers

First post has been updated. Let me know if I have missed anything.

LC I am in Glasgow and surprisingly it has been lovely here and it is supposed to continue until Thursday:j I don't get paid overtime and it is a bummer.

ladymay welcome to the thread let us know how your week goes. I don't include food shopping as that comes from a separate budget for me but please include what you want as it is your challenge so you effectively decide the rules. I hope your costume goes well.

Welcome back ruby_eskimo how have you been?

Sibles well done on your first week and good luck for your second.

No spends to report for me today as only spends came from grocery budget.

Hi everyone, just nipping on before bed - still knackered! First day in new office today, I worked 8am - 7pm, phones still going hideously wrong so didn't get much "real"work done today - I support all our sites which is about 80-180 depending on which ones you count, about 6000 users. The helpdesk do IT support, but I do Telecoms (on my own although now have a helper, 4 weeks in!), but have 250+ outstanding tickets in my queue, so really could have done without wasting the day on our issues!!!

    AAAnnyyywho! :D

ladymay lion sounds awesome! Hope he turns out looking good!!!

    Hi ruby_eskimohow are you?

Well done sibles - again up to you if you count Saturdays, technically the challenge goes Sun-Fri but your choice - it's your budget!

meersy well done at the dentist, nice cheap one and a gold star for you!! :A

pp - it's now brightened up here in Bristol (obviously not as I write this, that would be weird at half ten!) so I'm not so jealous!!!

    Spends for me so far:

24 Jul - Tin chickpeas and a pack of Cornettos (couldn't resist - £1.12 for 6!), coffee with the girls, also cigs... £11.23
    25 Jul - 2pts milk for work... £0.89

    Total so far = £12.12/£115

Planned for 26 Jul - Cigs...£6.65 ish (will either last 2 or 3 days...)

Have a good day tomorrow everyone!

    Hey y'all
So far this week my spend is 0.99 (i bought milk on the way in this morning for breakfast and coffee the rest of the week). Was disappointed at the dentist yesterday. The cost has rocketed for the hygenist to £33 (instead of £25) so I shifted some cash around to cover it, but it did make me a little cross - serves me right for letting my teeth get in a state i suppose.

Ah well. Fingers crossed for the rest of the week And thank goodness it is payday tomorrow!

Thank you for all being so lovely :) and welcoming too xx

    Morning!

Been at my desk (ie the kitchen table :p) since 8 this morning, getting a sore throat from all this telephone work tho! Luckily I'm in the same room as the kettle so I've got a constant supply of tea :D

elsiepac got the bulk of it done last night! Still got to sort out make up but once I've backcombed my hair to within an inch of its life I think I'll look suitably scary!!

pointypenguin and christhanks very much for the welcome!

NSD yesterday :j:j:j but I'm going out for dinner tomorrow so that's going to come out of my WSC money. Luckily got my new taste card (on the 3-month trial) through last week so it'll be cheaper than usual.

Back to work, have a great day everyone

    Hi all

Todays spends not so bad but calorie wise not so good.

I met up for friends for lunch and that came to £12 and then BF rang to invite me out on his boat this beautiful evening and could I pop into chinese and offy on way over - not so good.

Anyhow spends today £19.20, so grand total so far is £52/£100

i anticipate for the rest of the week - £5 at circuits tmw and £25 at cinema on thursday (i'm treating my Mum and nephews). Friday night will be about £15. I will be cutting it very fine.

However once my paycheck goes in tonight.. I will be DEBT FREE!!!!!!!. Is it sad to sit up to 12.01 to pay off my final credit card??? :o It could be and I like my sleep too much.:D

    Hi jo-urney,

I paid it this morning but it won't show for a couple of days and until I see the big £0 it doesn't feel that it's done. SO HAPPY:D. It's been a long slog as I have a habit of falling of the DFW bandwagon but I got there in the end:T. I'm not leaving these challenges as if it hadn't been for them I would still be robbing Peter to pay Paul. I also know how easy it is to build a debt mountain.

    Morning all :)

My total spend yesterday was £1.49 (milk and some change for sainsburies) and then today as it is payday I treated myself to a coffee (2.75). I also worked out what was left in my purse and bank account (£3.49) and transferred it into my savings account for christmas. I need to do the payday shuffle tonight!

    So total spend is £4.24
