I am just unsure what to do or say tomorrow when I go back down there . How much should I expect back for the coat it cost me £110 in warehouse.0

You need to see if they accept liability frst. The problem is if they deny all knowledge of havng it.
If they do then bear in mind the age of the jacket as they are extremely unlikely to offer anywere near the price originally paid.0 -
Crikey Dellers! They sound really rubbish. Firstly they didn't make their limitations very clear and now they've lost your coat! And they allowed you to leave without some sort of receipt. I know it's a bit late now, but why weren't they giving out written receipts! I can't believe they let you leave something without some form of proof. It protects both you and them.
See what they say. If they don't find your coat or admit liability, you could threaten them with the small claims court. Although I'm not sure how successful you'd be without a receipt. Do they at least admit that their tills weren't working for a period so they admit it could be a possibility that you've left something without having a receipt? If they don't even admit this... you're going to find it very difficult to get anything out of them.

I can't believe the OP left his coat at a cleaners without insisting on getting a receipt.
As you say, a hand written one is better than nothing.0 -
But that works both ways.

Well, me too. But I've already had a bit of a pop at the OP in this thread so I thought I'd try the more sympathetic approach"Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0
