These are easily incorporated in our day. We have a rule that you can eat fruit throughout the day as snacks when you want, I include veg in almost everything - pasta sauces, soups and the like. It usually includes whatever is lurking in the fridge, but I always have well stocked veg/salad drawers so never a problem!
Also, I have a yeast allergy so am unable to eat bread. For me this means salad or soup for lunches so, again, easy to incorporate.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. Ok i have done the meal planner for this week. we have loads of left over beef from dinner tonight. the joint i bought was about the size of a loaf of bread and i thought it would shrink, but it didn't. so we have a mountain of beef. oh well it was absolutly delish.

thur - HM tuna , sweetcorn and mushroom pasta with peas
fri - Hm chicken fried rice
sat - HM chicken , bacon and mushroom puff pasty pie with mash and veg

mon - HM shepards pie with carrots and peas.
that won't even make much of a dent in the freezers and cupboards which i'm pleased about. might write the rest of the months planners out later.0 -
My new week doesn't start until tomorrow, so here's my plan for the coming week - designed to use what's already in the freezer, be adaptable so as to be low/no fat for me, varied and healthy for DS8yo and come in under the budgeted £60 (minus £5 for the cider that's inevitably going to be requested).
Tue : Bacon & Leek Pasta (already got bacon & pasta)
Wed : Mince, mash & veg (already got mince & spuds)
Thur : Smoked Mackerel & rice (already got all the makings for savoury rice)
Fri : Sausage casserole & rice (already got the sausages and rice)
Sat : Home made pizza (minus pepperoni for me)
Sun : Chilli & rice (already got the rice - bought a monster bag of basmati from the local Indian shop!)
Mon : Fish in batter with wedges and baked beans (already got the fish & spuds, I'll have a piece of salmon instead which I've also already got).
There will be lots of "hidden" veg in these meals, so as to get our proper ration in without DS objecting to Broccoli appearing on his plate too often.
Fatty foods like the bacon and sausages will be grilled and the sausages pricked well so as to let out the fat. I aim for a maximum of 10-15g of fat per meal, to a total daily maximum of 40-50g per day. Sometimes it can be a bit of a struggle, but we Mums have wily ways!:hello: I'm very well, considering the state I'm in. :hello:Weight loss since 2 March 10 : 13lbs0 -
