Or Twister, you never know where that will leadAccept your past without regret, handle your present with confidence and face your future without fear0

We like to put some music on, get the wine (well that's just me!) out and play cards x0

We usually out on some music, relax and enjoy some wine, its as good as anything for us0

Definitely keep the tv off, play music instead. TV just kills any conversation so don't bother with DVD's etc, you want to communicate, otherwise what's the point?
Try having a cocktail night, we like to make a batch of margaritas because they remind us of a long-ago holiday in Greece. Get some nice food in, anything that's not fish fingers, baked beans or kiddy-friendly!
Talking of holidays, looking at old photos is always a good one, especially if you've got any of your early years together. It's nice to reminisce!
I'm not sure that DIY projects are a great date-night topic, it wouldn't put me in the mood, we'd just end up arguing about money and what colour we want to decorate the bedroom (he wants purple, which makes me feel sick, I want blue, like the rest of the house!)
If you can afford it, get a small pressie, it makes a date night feel really special. Not a s e x toy though...too much pressure! :rotfl::rotfl:"I may be many things but not being indiscreet isn't one of them"0 -

Read to each other.
Each select a book you enjoy (or think you will enjoy) and ask the other to read a section each night. maybe 10 miinutes each way, maybe more. It does not matter that you have different tastes.
Cuddle up while you do it. You may be surprised at how loving it feels.
On the DVD front, accept differences, and take turns watch a film that the other enjoys. If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing0 -
