So, if the work trial is in another town and transport is required, the jobcentre will foot the bill ?0 -

Anyone who wants some real inside information on this waste of space scheme ,go over to youtube and see this video and read the technical info others are saying and have experienced whist on the scheme, you will find it very hard indeed to find anyone who has a good thing to say about it.IMHO we have too many people not enough jobs, and is likely to remain so for years to come.Big recession and a huge low wage culture "i wonder why"
Providers want to get people into jobs as once in, thats where they will stay, they cant refuse as sanctions will be placed upon them, hence the provider then gets their fat fee via the tax payer as they have placed someone in a meanial low paid job,and lets be real about this we have 1000s of low paid jobs all over uk so its easy pickings for them.Ive paid into the system for 40yrs so dont give a crap about claiming etc.

Good. Nobody should be allowed to stay on the dole for 2 years without having to do something for it.
If I had my way they'd be in hi-viz vests picking up rubbish at the side of the UKs main road network and doing other such community service.0 -

Sounds like the kind of thing that would happen in a Police State or some kind of Fascist Regime!0 -

And would you:
A) Be prepared to pay people at least the nat min wage for doing so?Be prepared to see those already doing this for a living lose THEIR jobs?
I think your argument needs thinking through a tad more.0 -

I wonder if we forgot about the hi-viz vests it would reduce the dole queues, one way or another.0
