They are a complete bunch of crooks. The usual story - I ordered a product from them for £41 early this year. The payment came out of my account a couple of days later. The same amount was taken out of my account the following month, and the next, and the next (for 3 months in total, £123 overcharged!) before I noticed the payments and contacted them.
Their customer service is non-existant, and I sent them numerous threatening emails, and threatened them with legal action and reported them to Trading Standards.
I did eventually get a couple of emails saying they were sorry and it was a mistake (and the usual £5 voucher).
Eventually (a month later) I got 2 refunds of £41 each, leaving one refund of £41 still outstanding. After more threatening emails, I've finally got this back too.
Although I've received my refunds now, I would still NEVER to business with them again, and will continue to watch my account closely. They are definitely a bunch of criminals, given the amount of complaints there are on the internet.

NEVER do business with them!0 -
An excellent pet pharmacy is myvetmeds http://www.myvetmeds.co.uk
They're always there on the phone whenever I've ordered from them. I think they're one of the few who still care about their customers.0 -
I am just in dispute with this company at the minute. Not only did it take weeks and several emails to recieve my item, they have been charging me every month like a direct debit since.
I cannot contact them as they arent replying to my emails.0 -
Thanks for the alerts. Sadly too late for me. I placed an order with them for 2 dog beds on the 21/10/11. Had the usual confirmation and nothing since. Don't know when they are sending the goods and judging by what I read here, they probably aren't. Have just told my bank who have stopped my card. They have said that the company won't be able to get the payment again as will have a new number. Apparently, bank said that sometimes they set the card payment up from the start so as to make recurring payments. She told me that if they try to take money out again, they'll be blocked. Have e-mailed the company and informed them I want my goods or a refund. Have to wait and see now!:mad:0

Im having the same problem with this company, never answer the phone EVER... Oh how i wish I had reviewed the company before buying online. I have spoken to Trading Standards and they have asked me to email them reminding them of the distance selling regulations 2000, that they have 30 days from the day i made the purchase, to refund me the money for the returned item..... avoid this company like the plague.0

I too fell victim - have had to cancel my debit card but bank can do nothing else to help. Will contact trading standards but guess I can say goodbye to my money. Anyone out there thinking of buying from these people - all I can say is - DON'T!!! They'll take every penny you have. Fingers crossed they can be stopped:mad:0

Please do not touch paws pet supermarket.co.uk or .com with a 10 foot barge pole. I bought a dog coat for a small amount of £14.99, the money was deducted from my account and the coat arrived as advertised. However, this morning a further £14.99 has been deducted. I have phoned tried all 3 options, I have also e-mailed. My bank has now raised a dispute with the company and I have copies of the e-mails I have sent. They have also cancelled and reissued my card. A bit of an inconvenience, but at least I will not have £14.99 deducted from my account again (i hope). I have e-mail Watchdog, the Consumer Council and Trading Standards regarding this company.0

Since my last post, PawPetSupermarket have refunded my £14.99:o, sending me the e-mail of apology and a £5 off voucher. I e-mailed back and said I would not be using the voucher, given my experience and was told to use google pay as "this is better". Not sure what this means, but thought I would pass it on anyway. I did get in touch with Watch Dog, Consumer Advice and Trading Standards and let PawPetSupermarket know that. Not sure if this had any influence on their decision to refund my money. Hope this helps.0

I bought something on my card for a friend back in August this year.
Paws pet supermarket have now debited my account (this week) for same item. Add to that bank charges for being overdrawn £25. Never get through to them on the phone have emailed three times. No response. Anyone had any success in getting money back from this awful company. I now have to cancel my card and wait for a new one to be issued to prevent further fraud by this company.0 -
Very dodgy goings on. You could understand a mistake once or twice, but so many times, including ones that occur months after the correct payment was taken? It would be deplorable if this company were using people's account details as a way of getting over cash flow problems.
I would strongly advise anyone with similar problems to contact Trading Standards through the Consumer Direct website. Even if your money was refunded eventually, the greater the volume of complaints the more likely it is that action will be taken.0
