Orange non delivery of emails

Hi Darren

Sent series of test messgaes ( Sunday 09:00) all arrived EXCEPT to MSN and Hotmail so the problem still exists.

I am away until Tues and I'LL review the situation them

I also have an Orange (well Freeserve actually) e-mail account.

Occasionally I've found e-mails a little slow being received in the account but generally it is fine.

Of the mobile phone operators, when I used it, the Orange SMTP server was one of the better ones I've tried.

The Vodafone SMTP server (send.vodafone.net or smtp.vodafone.net) disappeared without trace when I was using a Vodafone SIM in my "Orange San Francisco" and when I was using "3" for e-mail regularly their server went missing for weeks at a time.

The Orange SMTP server at least worked for me but I only used the Orange SIM for a couple of months due to un-competitive PAYG data rates.

I'm now on a T-Mobile SIM on their excellent 6 months data deal so at least their holding company is making something from it.

Hi Darren

Have sent test emails to hotmail/MSE accounts over the last three days and I regret that none of them have arrived.

So unless individual IP addresses are being block ( I don't see why )
then it looks as if the problem still exists.

No luck until today and the YES!!!!! test messages have been getting through to hotmail

I'll try some to MSN but it looks as if the problem may have been resolved fingers crossed
