Ours is also by Komfi and no problems with sweating at all. It's the best mattress we've ever had.I let my mind wander and it never came back!0

Sparyman, how is the Makro mattress please?0

First of all had no heat worries with the makro one at all and i usually sleep with the covers off.
When you sit on it to get into bed your bum does sink in but when you lay on it really feels comfy.
I thought i would sink right down and was pleasantly surprised by how it holds you, only my bum sits a little lower than my legs.I had a really good nights sleep.
I am now converted to the memory foam:j
Only thing is i used to spring out of bed when i heard the alarm but now i just swing my legs out first and get out that way which is probably better for me anyway0 -
There are a few things to pay attention to when considering a memory foam mattress:
*Density - the higher density memory foam has a longer lifespan and a longer rebound (meaning, it takes a bit longer, 1-2 seconds to come back to original shape). This is good and often indicates a good quality mattress. The longer lifespan translates into a longer time before the mattress develops sags.
*Firmness - some memory foam mattresses are firmer than others while some are softer. All genuine memory mattresses should react to temperature. They become softer when warmer and firmer when colder. The really soft mattresses are cheap and not real memory foam. What manufacturers do is make it softer to hide the lack of density.
*Temperature-responsiveness - some memory mattresses react to body temperature. They soften and flow around you to cradle your every curve. Others, however, react to temperatures far higher than your body could ever produce and are useless.
Memory foam mattresses are not made entirely of foam, only the top layer is memory foam (even for Tempur mattresses). There are other types of mattresses that may work for you and if you really like the feel of memory foam, just place a memory foam topper over it (as long as the surface underneath is even). Hiya
I've just been recommending the Silentnight Contour in another thread, it's the best mattress I've had (and I'm really fussy about them!). We bought it online from Best in Beds for around £320 along with a frame for about the same price.
Quick delivery, lovely service, nice people - spot on in every way.
Cheers

I hope it lasts longer than most of them seem to0 -
Have had no problems so far - have you had a Contour that's had problems then?0
